At school Rose went through the hall to get to her class. Niall just arrived at school. He reads over the conversation he had with Rose the other day.  In fact, he didn't sleep well at all last night since he kept reading over the conversation and worrying if he was too attached to Rose. The last thing Niall wanted was to lose Rose.

Ever since she came into his life, he's been so happy and has felt as though all his problems have disappeared right before his eyes. Making his way through the door into the hallway, he sees Rose enter her classroom with all her belongings in her arms. Niall wants to go over to her classroom and wish her a good morning, but he simply looks down at the text Rose sent him "you know we can't always be by each other's sides forever." He then remembers what she said through the phone, "It's just we've been seeing each other everyday and--don't you think that we need some time for ourselves?"

Walking past the room, Niall makes his way to his classroom when he passes Max who stands next to Jess and the other group of boys. They all give him a disgusting look as Jess rolls her eyes at him.

"We need Niall back," Max says to the rest. "There's gotta be some way for him to leave that chick."

Jess leans in. "I think I can take care of that myself."

All of them stare at her with a smile planted on their faces. Jess has been known to do the worst and also steal other girls girlfriends, but Niall doesn't seem to have any sort of feelings or even seem to find Jess attractive. But that won't stop Jess. "How are you going to do that?" Max asks her.

"Well," she looks from side to side, making sure no ones overhearing them. "If that rat finds out her boyfriends kissing another girl then she would have to leave him. He'll come running back to her but she'll obviously reject him because that's how most girls are. Soon enough he'll feel like his own self without her and come back to us."

The boys around her look astound by her plan and all nod.

As Rose exits her room, she makes her way to her usual spot for lunch where she finds Niall sitting alone picking at his food with his phone in his hand. He stares at the screen as if there was something interesting on there. Once she inches near, he puts his phone down and moves to give her a spot to sit. "Hey there."

"Hi." Niall responds.

"What were you doing on your phone?"

He takes his phone and throws it in his backpack. "Nothing."

This confuses her. "You looked pretty focused on it."

He just takes a bite out of his sandwich and shakes his head. "Nope."

She doesn't bother to say anything else but eats her lunch. Both of them sit in silence for about another five minutes when all of a sudden Rose gets irritated. "Niall, this was about yesterday wasn't it?"

The blonde haired boy shakes his head. "Why would you say that?"

"It is. You wouldn't be acting like this if I never said any of that. Why can't you just accept the truth?"

"Truth? What truth? You want to know my truth? The truth is I want to spend as much time with you because you are an amazing person to be with--which is why you are my girlfriend! Also I want to have all these memories together with you. Because of you I am a new person! There you go!" He throws his arms up.

This still hasn't convinced Rose. "If you want a girlfriend who will be there with you 24/7, Niall. Then that's not me." She gets up from her seat preparing herself to leave.

He urgently takes her hand. "I-I'm sorry, Rose. Please don't go."

She shakes her hand away from him. "I think it's better if we think about this overnight. It's okay, you don't have to take me home today, i can walk."

As soon as she left, Niall knew that he's made a grave mistake.
