While Rose was getting ready, she received a text from who she thought was David.
Niall: hey, rose.
Niall: I know this is something quick I'm going to ask but it's more of a last minute thing.
Niall: I've got these two tickets to a carnival that I was planning on taking Jess to, but things between us aren't the same anymore and yea...
Rose: What are you saying?
Niall: I'm sure you know.
Rose: You sure you've got no one else to take?
Niall: No.
Niall: You were the first person I thought of...
Rose: Oh
Niall: You aren't busy are you?
Rose: I mean, I can cancel plans
Niall: You sure? I mean if it's important then you should go.
Rose: No, it's fine.
Niall: Alright then. I'll pick you up then.
Rose: I think it's best if I meet you there. Just send me the address.
Rose had to message David after that.
Rose: Hey, David. I'm sorry but I've got to cancel tonight. I'm sorry. I just realized that I've got a huge project to do and I totally laid it off until last minute. I'm sorry again.
David: Oh, that's ok.
David: If you'd like I can help you.
Rose: No, no, please don't bother.
David: Really it's no problem.
Rose: No, I mean it. I've got this.
Rose: But we can schedule some other time, alright?
David: Alright.
Rose smiles to herself then frowns.
