"Since we didn't go out that one night, I was planning on maybe going out tomorrow night? Maybe grab something to eat and then a movie?" David asks Rose as they head to their lunch table.

Rose hasn't been hanging out with David lately and feels the need to. "Yea, of course."

He smiles as he takes a seat. There's a loud clash sound coming from behind them. Turning around, Rose finds Niall in the middle of the school quad on the floor. A few trash cans have fallen making the clash sound. Max and the other boys stand around him looking mad and seem to be yelling things at him. Rose's heart drops, she wishes she could get up and help him but David would stop her.

At one point in the fight, Max points in Rose's direction saying something to Niall making him turn in her direction with a helpless face. David sees this and frowns. "Don't even bother to fall for his sympathetic look, Rose. He deserves all of this."

Looking away from the scene, Rose gets back to eating in silence. After a while of munching on her sandwich, someone gives her a push on her back. Turning around, she finds Jess standing there with an angry look. "This is all your fault, bitch."

David jumps in. "Hey, hey, there's no need to call her that--"

"Shut up you moron! Is this some kind of plan you have going on?" Jess gets closer to Rose. 

"What are you talking about?" Rose asks.

"You know what I'm talking about!" Jess yells. "Don't act so innocent. I know you want Niall back--he fucking broke up with me--I'm sure it was because of you."

"I had no idea, Jess--"

"I had no idea, Jess." She mimics her. "You're going to regret messing with me." And with that she was off.

David shakes his head. "What the hell was that about?"

Rose watches Jess walk off. "I have no idea."

But Rose did have an idea as to what was going on.
