After a few days, Rose went to David's home where they met up to head to school. They took David's car and went out. Once they made it there, Rose was greeted with Jess and Niall holding hands. Almost everyone noticed this instantly including David. He must of already had a hint as to what this was all about. "Let's just head to your class." Rose mumbles as he follows her lead.

Niall saw her as well with David and a hint of jealousy ran over him.  Although when Jess saw this, she gave him a kiss and smiled directly at him, he did the same thing in return. But deep down inside, he still had feelings for Rose which were dying to come out. "Honey," Jess says, "forget about her. Anyways we had a great time last night. Don't you agree?" She forces him to look at her instead of Rose and David who walk into the school. 

Staring at her, he sees a girl he'll never love or even get close to liking as a girlfriend. "Yea." He kisses the top of her nose while walking towards their first class.

On the other hand, Rose walked David towards his first class which happened to be a few rooms down from hers. "I guess we can meet right by the water fountain over there after your first period. We happen to have the same class next which'll make things easier." He nods as she hands him his schedule.

"Rose." David speaks up.

"Hm?" She looks up at him.

"Are you alright? I know I shouldn't intrude in this type of stuff but it was pretty obvious..."

The bell rings just on time. "You should probably get to class. Don't want to be late on your first day." She turns her back on him and walks towards her first period.

The rest of the morning went by and it came to lunch where Rose invited David to eat with her at the same table where her and Niall would eat when they were in a relationship. She knew that he was probably out eating at a restaurant with his old friends and get back to class late or even ditch the rest of the day with his new girlfriend. At this moment, she felt a bit of jealousy rise inside her. 

David who sits across from her drops what he's eating to talk to her. "If you need to talk about this, I'm here." 

"Is it obvious?" Rose asks.

He nods. She takes a deep breath before spilling the beans. She starts out with everything from the start about how she used to send anonymous messages to him and how she adores him with all her life. How he was a complete ass/bully in the beginning and is starting to be that way once again. She then says how she misses him but that he's obviously chosen the wrong path again. 

"I'm sorry, Rose." David says. "I think you deserve someone much better than him no offence."

"I know David but..." the tears slowly form in her eyes, "i-it's hard to forget someone--he was my first boyfriend and my first kiss..." she doesn't let the tears fall.

David seizes the chance to take her hand in his and soothe her. From the corner of both of their eyes they see a group of people come from the parking lot, including Niall. He sees Rose and Davids hands on the table and anger is read all over his face. He grabs Jess's hand furiously and kisses her cheek while staring directly at Rose.

But what Niall didn't see was her watery eyes and the tears which she had finally let fall from her eyes. He had got the wrong idea.
