'Sometimes you lose the people you love,
And sometimes the people you love
Make you feel lost.'

Olivia tried to put away the stuff she'd worked on quickly after she realised that she was running late for her session with Orion. She'd been writing down all the Trigedasleng that'd he'd let slip because she was better at remembering things that she'd seen, rather than heard. She was hoping she'd be able to get him to write it down somehow but that would probably come at a later day. Mostly everyone was outside getting drunk and enjoying Unity Day but as someone who detested the day - Olivia was avoiding it completely.
After Octavia had popped in to let her know that she'd be heading off in ten, Olivia quickened her pace, sticking the notebook under her blankets. She grabbed the gloves he'd gotten her, hiding them in her pocket and stepping out of her tent. There were torches lit all around the camp and kids were cheering, passing around some of Monty's moonshine which for the day, they were labelling 'Unity Juice'. She was going to head out the usual way but was stopped by Bellamy.
"Hey, Oli," he called, coming to stand by her. She smiled as casually as she could, wondering when so much of her time had become devoted to Bellamy Blake. "Happy Unity Day," he smirked, gesturing to the celebration around, "Jaha's speech cut off."
"It did?" she raised her eyebrows, "Can't say I'm too upset about that."
Bellamy chuckled, "You know what'll cheer you up? Standing around with me and watching everyone have fun."
"I was expecting you to suggest Unity Juice or something," Olivia snorted.
"I would but-"
"-if you have to stay sober, I should?" she raised an eyebrow, laughing at the way his face turned sheepish. She really needed to leave but she also found that she kind of wanted to hang out with him. Guarding the camp like that alone would probably suck. Thinking it over, she figured she could ask Orion for a shorter session - especially considering it was now dark out and to work much harder the next day. "Let me just find Clarke and check up on her real quick," Olivia said, "I'll be right back."
Turning, she headed in the opposite direction that she was meant to be going, trying to make it seem like she was heading to Clarke's tent. Lying stressed her out and yet she seemed to always be constantly lying. Luckily for her, there was a branch that hung over the fence on that side which she jumped at, holding herself up. I really need to work out more, she thought, hoisting herself up to the top of the branch.
Once up, she used the tips Orion had given her, searching for the closest and most stable branch from there. She took a breath, hopping over to it and releasing the breath in order to relax and gain her balance. There was strength involved in it but more than anything, it was balance. She tried to keep that in mind as she moved from branch to branch, focusing like crazy.
A brown head came into her sight and she paused as she spotted Octavia, hands resting on the trunk. Olivia wanted to sneak up on her but she wasn't the best at moving silently, so she had to slow down, biting in her exclamations or huffs as she travelled to a branch close to Octavia. Sitting down, she swung her legs as she said, "Sorry I took so long."
Octavia jumped, twirling around in shock. Upon spotting it was Olivia, her chest fell in relief and she laughed. "Gosh, Liv, you're really taking Orion's lessons seriously, huh?" she smirked, raising an eyebrow.
