A/N: my Wattpad is acting up so I had to republish this! Sorry!

It had been almost exactly one month since the big old marriage ceremony. Nothing much had changed though. Castiel still kept himself to himself and Dean went back to his old life style. He stayed up all night and partied with his friends and went about his daily life of lessons and studying. He was getting a bit tired of sleeping on the couch, but he didn't really know how to approach his own bedroom, especially when Castiel was in there.

He had finished his lessons early for the day and went to his... their apartments, looking around for any sign of the omega. There was not one and he visibly relaxed before walking into their room. The bed was neatly laid and it looked so warm and inviting. Castiel wasn't there at the moment so there was no harm in getting some well earned, comfortable shut eye before he was back on the sofa again, right?

He crept into the bed, taking off all of his clothes in the process and relaxed into the silk sheets which slivered across his naked body. He smiled and curled up into a ball, rolling on his side before shutting his eyes and yawning. One hour tops, that's all he needed. And with that, he was fast asleep.

"Good morning, your highnesses." A lady called into the room before entering and lighting up the fire in the room. Dean grunted slightly and rolled onto his back, yawning before sitting up slowly.

"Highnesses?" He mumbled out, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He looked at the servant woman who smiled again, bowing before leaving the room. Dean sniffed quietly and rubbed his nose, yawning once again. There was sudden movement beside him and he suddenly saw the body rise up from the covers.

Castiel's head peaked out and he sat up, rubbing the sleep out of his own eyes as Dean's mouth dropped open. It was morning already? He was only meant to take a nap, how had this happened?! Wait... he was in his own bed... with his husband? Not that weird to the outsiders point of view, but definitely weird to Dean.

He thought that Cas would have woken him up and told him to get out or something but instead the young omega had just crawled in next to Dean and slept beside him.

"Morning." Castiel's sleepy voice came from under his hands which were still rubbing his face. Finally his hands dropped and he looked at Dean shyly, blushing slightly. His eyes were puffy and red, and there was slight drool hanging from the left side of his mouth which had obviously been from when he slept. Castiel rubbed his mouth quickly, noticing Dean was looking and blushed beetroot red, looking away.

"Erm, morning." Dean says, more in a questionable manner more than anything else. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"Well, i've only just gotten up myself..." Castiel said slowly, not completely understanding what the alpha was talking about. Dean shook his head quickly.

"No, no. I meant why didn't you wake me up when you came to bed last night? I would have slept on the couch again-"

Castiel shrugged and looked at Dean seriously.

"I didn't force you to sleep on the couch, Dean. You made that decision on your own. When i saw you in bed, I just presumed that you were ready to sleep in the same bed as me now."

"I was ready?" Dean asked incredulously. "I thought that you weren't ready!"

Castiel sighed and leaned back against the headboard, looking down at his hands and shrugging ever so slightly.

"I knew that I was going to get married off to someone at some point, Dean. I've known that my whole life, which means that I had my whole life to prepare sleeping in the same bed as someone else." Castiel thought for a second before looking at Dean and smiling sadly. "I do thank you though, thank you for not forcing anything on me when you knew i wasn't ready for that kind of thing."
