Dean was far from impressed to say the least. He had tried time and time again to use the alpha power on Castiel to try and get him to go back home but it just didn't work for the alpha. Dean just didn't know whether it was because Castiel was an original or whether it was because Deans power just wasn't strong enough to control Castiel. Either way, it really took a hit to Deans pride.

He stood having a strong whiskey before walking into the sleeping compartments where his husband was lay, snuggled inside the silk sheets, resting soundly. Dean rolled his eyes as he looked at the sleeping omega, knowing that Castiel had no idea what he was getting himself in for. A war was no place for an omega, especially not one as young as his husband was, and Dean knew that he had to find some kind of way to get Castiel to go back home.

However, he knew that forcing Castiel to go home wouldn't work, so he wondered what the hell he could do. He could try and sweet talk him into leaving but Dean figured that that would have a lesser effect on the young omega than the forcefulness had. But at this rate, Dean was desperate to try everything.

He sighed and put down the crystal glass that was now empty and walked fully into the compartment where Castiel slept. It seemed however that the young omega was not sleeping as peacefully as Dean first imagined because as soon as he heard movement inside the room, Castiel's eyes shot wide open.

He breathed out deeply, almost as if it were a sigh of relief and sat up, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"You scared me." He said timidly and wiped his brow which Dean only just noticed had sweat dripping from it.

"You okay, you look ill." He says but smiling on the inside because this could be the reason to send Castiel home. If he was ill, he wouldn't be able to travel with the army in case the ailment spread. However Dean's secret smile faltered when the omega shook his head softly.

"No, I'm not ill."

"What's wrong than? Cause you look pale and you're sweating like a mad man."

"Just a dream. Or more... a vision of some kind."

"A vision." Dean partially scoffed, finding it very hard to believe that Castiel was speaking to Gods and having visions.

"Yes. But i won't share. You need to be in the right mind in case you and your men still have to fight the battle. I don't want their leader to be doubtful of what he and his army can do."

"Stop speaking in riddles." Dean rolled his eyes and slipped off his shirt and trousers before crawling into bed and blowing the candle out. Castiel frowned into the darkness before slowly sinking back down beside Dean, turning to face the alpha even though he couldn't even see his hand in front of his face.

"I'm just saying that things might not go the way i planned, and if so..."

"You're not coming." Dean grumbled in a low and serious tone which made Castiel go quiet. "I mean it. If there is even a slight chance of you getting hurt-"

"Why do you care?" Castiel asked abruptly and he heard and felt Dean turn around to face him.

"What do you mean?" Dean asked, his eyebrows furrowing.

"I mean, why do you care? If anything i thought that you would be glad to be rid of me so you can go back to partying with your friends every night and being with any omega that you like without being told off me neither me nor your father."

There was a few moments silence after Castiel said that. The omega felt slightly guilty but he couldn't help that that was the way he felt. And Dean was more or less in shock by the omegas words. He was taken aback and couldn't wrap his head around what he could say back to that fast enough. He did finally answer however.
