Megan's POV
The table in front of us is filled with papers, laptops, unfinished food items, and a pair of feet crossed at the ankles.
We've all been here since eight this morning, trying to get past our deadline before the end of the day. It's now one o'clock, and everyone is exhausted and dying to go home. This is one of the few times I actually get to work with the boys in the office, deciding what they want for the tour.
There's a knock on the door when Louis groans about needing food, and a chair is gently scraping against the floor already.
We all look up, the conversation coming to a halt when we all see Jennifer and Harry rushing to go see her.
"You made it." He smiles and I don't remember him talking about her coming to London, but he gives her a brief hug and keeps talking like there isn't fifteen people behind him.
"My flight was shorter than I thought it would be." She tells him, and I look away to draw circles in the corner of my notepad.
"How long are you staying?" Harry asks her. I can't stop listening, even if I try to drown out their words.
"Just a few days. I just wanted to see you while I can." Her voice is light and airy and I don't know if I completely enjoy it.
"Harry?" Jonathan interrupts and Louis drops his feet from the table, leaning over to whisper something in Niall's ear. They both laugh and I grin, only imagining what they could be talking about.
"Sorry." Harry apologises before turning back to Jennifer. I wish she wasn't so pretty. "I'll give you a ring when we're done. We've been here a while so I hope it won't take too long."
"That's not a problem."
They say quick goodbyes and everyone is so quietly listening that we can almost hear each other's heart beats.
Harry sits down and Liam nudges him with his elbow, wiggling his eyebrows.
"So back to the show..." John begins again, trying to get things finished even if he's probably dying to know everything too.
Another hour later we're packing up our things, putting laptops into bags while saving all our information that would be life threatening to accidentally lose.
Walking out of the room, I see Harry talking to Jennifer near the door and do an awful job and trying to get by unnoticed.
"Hey, hold on." Harry rests his hand on my shoulder and keeps me from moving anywhere. "I want you to meet Jennifer."
I turn towards the tall blonde, who beams a bright smile at me. Her soft hair glows of the light and her skin is free of any blemishes. I wish I could find a flaw, but only come up with reasons why Harry likes her.
"Hi, I'm Megan." I introduce, shaking her hand as she extends it.
"Jennifer." She replies, her eyes flickering to Harry.
"It's nice to meet you." I tell her, adjusting my large coat over my shoulders. Today was not the best day to not care about my appearance. "Harry has told me a lot about you."
"Has he?" She raises her eyebrows and Harry laughs, shaking his head at me.
"All the time," I tease, and he rolls his eyes. He put his hand over my mouth if he could.
"I called you over to introduce you, not embarrass me." He chuckles and Jennifer laughs with him, stepping closer to his body so she can intertwine their fingers.
"Where's the fun in that?" I joke and he looks down at Jennifer, who smiles up at him.
I don't want to be here too long and I doubt they'd want me around much too.
