"Hey... I'm just leaving the airport now, but a video was just emailed to me." I said, watching Megan's words for the third time.
"Was it the one when I was with Andrew?" She asked and I sighed.
"Yeah... Did you actually say that?" I asked, not wanting to believe it.
"Yes, but they twisted it up, I promise. I said no to sleeping with you, not no to answering the question. I know I messed up again and were probably going to get called in, and I'm honestly so sorry, Harry-"
"No, no. It's fine," I interrupted. "You didn't mean to and it was basically their fault for bombarding you with the questions. I know we'll get called down, but what's the worst that could happen? Tell us that we have to say some stuff in front of paps?"
"Or I could get fired. This isn't the first time I've screwed up like this."
"You won't get fired. I won't let that happen." I assured.
"I'm just nervous," she said. "I hate it when these things happen. They always make it seem like you're the bad person in the end."
"But I think we both know that we didn't sleep with each other - unless we were completely drunk and don't remember - so I have nothing to worry about. They're the idiots who think it's true."
I heard her soft laugh.
"Okay... We'll I'll probably see you in a bit once we have that little meeting."
"Yeah. Try to avoid answering any questions," I chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah. See you later."
"See you."
We hung up as the car pulled away from the airport, driving me back to my house.
It was nice spending those few days with Jennifer, even though she got a little busy at times and we couldn't be with each other very long. But it was a good holiday that I needed for a while, even if there was more drama happening when I came home.
The car pulled into my house and slowed to a stop before I got out, grabbing my suitcase. I thanked the driver and he nodded, saying it was no problem and I went inside.
As soon as I sat down on the sofa, my phone went off.
I sighed, answering it.
"Hello?"
"Harry, we're going to need you and Megan to come down to the office for a small meeting. It won't take long but we need to discuss a few things. Can you make it here in thirty minutes?"
I let out a breath, rubbing my eyes with my hand.
"I just got back and I'm really tired... Can it wait?" I asked, hoping that was a good enough excuse to hold off the meeting.
"I'm sorry, but no. It won't take long."
"Okay... I'll be there in a bit," I grumbled, standing up again and getting my car keys.
I went outside and began driving to the large building, going inside and asking the receptionist which room everyone was in.
She lead me to it and I walked in, seeing Megan already inside.
David was sitting across from here, making small talk when I sat down.
"Hey," she said to me with a warm smile.
