Michael's POV

This was it.

This was the night I was going to ask Haven to complete my life.

I had been thinking about it for a while now and as the time went on I knew that I was ready and I hoped she was to.

The boys all knew what I was planning and when I was planning to do it.

Everyone knew except for Sunny.

I wanted to tell her because she was one of my best friends but she was Haven's best friend and I was afraid she would accidentally slip up and tell her or hint around and Haven would get the message so we all decided it was best Sunny didn't know.

So now as we drove down the road I got more and more nervous.

I have been like this for a couple days and I honestly can't wait to get it over with because I think I'm starting to worry Haven.

She's noticed I have been acting weird and asks about but I can't tell her so I know she's worried about me.

She won't be though when she realizes that this is why.

I couldn't begin to count how many times I have stood in the bathroom and recited what I was going to say in the mirror.

Or how many nights I have stayed up till 1 or 2 in the morning thinking of the perfect way to do it.

I wanted everything to be perfect and I drove myself crazy trying to get it perfect.

Then I realized I didn't like it and I forgot the whole idea.

I had everything planned out.

Where we were eating, what time, what kind of food, everything in general.

Then I realized that I didn't need everything to be perfect.

Haven was already perfect to me and that's all I needed.

Besides Havens into cheesy traditional things so this is the perfect way to do it.

I had everything planned out and had practiced what I was going to say over and over again.

But on the way here I decided that I didn't need a speech to tell her how much I love her and instead decided to just say what I felt.

Finally we arrived at the restaurant and I looked over at her as she realized where we were.

A Chinese restaurant.

It was her favorite.

Mine was Italian but I didn't care about what mine was because I liked Chinese anyways and all I wanted was to make her happy.

I parked the car and got out walking to her side and opening the door.

"We are here my lady." I said bowing.

She laughed and got out shutting the door.

"Good I'm starving."

I rolled my eyes at her and grabbed her hand intertwining our fingers.

We walked into the restaurant and got seated almost immediately.

After being signed we have started to gradually become more famous so when we walked in people started noticing me and asking for pictures.

At first I said no because I wanted the night to be all about Haven but of course Haven being Haven told me to take pictures with the fans.

God when she was like this it drove me crazy and I loved every minute of it.

Finally I was done taking pictures with everyone and sat back down with Haven.

"I'm sorry baby." I said picking up the menu.

"Don't be. I understand. If I were in a restaurant and saw a famous person I would want a picture with them too don't worry about it."

She was literally so fucking perfect.

I smiled at her and winked before looking back down at the menu.

Our waitress came and we ordered our drinks.

She left to get them and returned seconds later handing us our drinks and asking what we wanted to eat.

We ordered and she walked back off towards what I assume was the kitchen.
I turned towards Haven and reached across the table grabbing her hand.

"Is there a certain reason you brought me here?" She asked suddenly.

Fuck I hope she didn't figure it out.

"No I just thought we needed some time by ourselves."

She smiled and believed my answer.

After that we talked about random little things as we waited for our food.

Finally the food came and I started to grow more nervous.

Now was the time it was now or never.

The waitress sat our food and walked away when she was sure we were all set.

When Haven wasn't looking I scooted her silverware closer to the egde of the table where they were just barely holding on.

She turned towards me and smiled.

"It looks great." She said reaching for her fork which fell to the ground just like I hoped it would.

She bent over to retrieve it and I knew it was now or never.

While she was distracted I took the chance and ran with it.

I quickly got out of my chair and kneeled down on the floor on one knee pulling the familiar box out of pocket and holding it out.

Just as I had Haven looked up and saw me instantly putting her hand over her mouth.

I opened the box to display the ring I had also spent forever picking out and smiled up at her.

I cleared my throat and took a deep breath preparing myself to tell her how I feel from the bottom of my heart.

"Haven ever since I saw you that day on the beach I knew I had to have you. I'm not sure exactly what it was about you that stood out to me but it did. After that day I couldn't get you out of my head and I was so afraid I would never see you anything. Then I did and I couldn't of been happier. Every day I spend with you is every day I get happier. Before I met you I honestly didn't know what to do with my life. Yes I had my three best friends and we have a band but I also felt like there was something missing. Until I found you. I then realized that you were what I was missing. Now everyday I look forward to waking up with you in my arms and holding you every night before we go to bed. I look forward to kissing you everyday and holding your hand. I even look forward to our fights because I know that after them we will run into each other's arms and both say how sorry we are then we will just spend the rest of the night making it up to one another. It's the little things that get me and remind me how much I love you. Your smile. Your eyes. Your laugh. Everything about you. Every fiber of your being. What I'm trying to say is I love you more than life itself. Without you I would be nothing. Everything is falling into place. I'm chasing my dream with my best friends and I have you right by my side. I realize that I need you by my side forever because without you I am nothing. So Haven Michelle Smith will you make me so fucking happy and complete the rest of my life with me by my side until we are 80 and have twelve grandchildren, 20 dogs, and a cute little house where we rock back and forth in our rocking chairs on the porch never letting our hands go?"

By the time I was finished everyone in the restaurant had gathered around to watch and Haven was crying.

She nodded multiple times obviously not able to speak and I got up slipping the ring on her finger before pulling her in for a hug as the people around us cheered.

I kissed her forehead and leant down to whisper in her ear.

"I love you forever and always."

"I love you to infinity and beyond."

It was perfect just the way I had imagined it.

She was perfect for me.
