Fair Lady

Oh fair lady, wrapped in life's torment.
Now an arm that's so tragically bent.
Sent from above, though you may not see.
Being my grace so effortlessly.

I need you, a heartfelt craving in every touch.
My desire expanding, as my heart begins to rush.
A gush of wind. The might of the world turns all to plush.
Thou modest light that silences my nightmares in a hush.

I'll save you from those demons.
But please help make me a freeman.

I'm chained, and confined, and our spirits beg to combine.
You're not the only one broken down to the spine,
Use your wings to take flight and shine.

Fair lady, you can break free,
I'll hold the door open, so you may be free.
More suffering for me, though I hide it just for you.
Knowing your love will never pull me through.

Oh dear lady, my life is not my own.
So tender your soul gazing eyes have grown.
My agony means nothing, and shall be blown.
Wisped away for a future day to show.

Known you since forever, and no matter the weather, I've been there for you so long.
Just us, together.
I may not seem weak, but seeing you pained makes me weep.
I'll cradle you in my arms, and we'll lay underneath the stars.

A sweet evermore without the world's heaviest of bars.
