Toxicity

Toxicity boils lungs.
Whispering a secret
To condemn the soul
Who hears.

Toxicity shrivels skin.
Paperweight
Without a trace of hope
Inside bones.

Toxicity sinks heart.
Heavy in wounded arms.
Concrete feet drown,
Slowly, an iron ball.

Toxicity is the betrayer.
He's the killer in the crowd.
No sound, just sweet.
Till he stabs his host.

Toxicity is invisible.
Blind to see, soft to touch.
Try to hide.
Covered in muck.

Toxicity is you.
Slayer of my purity.
Dissolve this mistful air.
Mix to poisonous ivy.
