There once was a man
Who tore me apart
Left me with nothing
Completely distraught.

Pieces that crumple.
Footsteps draw near.
Another at the sideline.
Watchful and dear.

"Use your two hands,
Roll up your sleeve.
I'll stand and cheer.
As you heal your heartbeat."

And with each second,
A magnetic heart is sown.
A smile rapturing hope.
A sea of happiness I dove.

And even when the cracks
Form a stubborn black hole.
Those deep brown eyes narrow.
Mend each sinful loophole.

"Look and see.
You won't need me.
You're stronger than
You ever thought to be."

A dance in those orbs
A curve plays on my lips.
"Your Love is my aim now,
For my damage is finally bliss."

"Lucky for you I've fallen.
Leaves and rain are far to compare.
A click so magical, a spark that's bright.
Darling, I've loved you at my first sight."

And as the dawn flickered anew
There in the shadows
Born a starlight that grew.

Forever.
