My iron head can't hear you.
My mind's all made up.
My eyes won't fully see you.
My hands are numb to touch.*
Tell me I'm wrong.
And I'll hand you the facts.
Explain the horridness.
I'll clean it with true acts.*
Stubborn, neither positive nor negative.
Unbending my thoughts control.
Wistful my love for you.
My compliments you dunk in mold.*
Only complicated in your mind.
I'm stubborn because I adore your kind.
Words I crave, you heed my name.
This stubborn fight is an endless game.*
Yet here you are, so stubborn.
My heart is the one to blame.
Darling, just look closer.
You'll see our hearts aflame.*
Stubborn, yes we are.
This burning sensation is our law.
Just admit, you admire my everything.
And our stubbornness will swift-fully thaw. Not sure if I posted this poem somewhere else but I thought I'd leave it here to share with you all. :)
