Allergy

Blistering thoughts torn from a tree.

Stormy tears drip in the sea.

Peeling layers, I skin from me.

***

Ashes to ashes.

Bones to bones.

Whatever I see turns to stone.

***

Rotting inside.

Deteriorating in lies.

Only myself to bring out these cries.

***

Sniffle and sneeze.

I cough up a breeze.

Churning stomach I often do squeeze.

***

A pill overdose.

Won't stop being so close.

Yet the doctors all say.

I'm the cause for this sick day.

***
I'm allergic to me.

I itch and I plea.

Though I do try.

It won't let me be free.

***

Allergy of invention.

I beg you don't mention.

Why I crave this nasty attention.

***

I'm allergic to me.

How can this be?

This deadly allergy.

That's sworn to kill me.
