Love Falls Forever

Unprotected. Never.

I was terrified, and angry. I knew Ross was only trying to protect me, but I need to know about these things. I can't be putting Him or his family in danger like this. 

"note..." I breathed. I sat down for a moment to gather my thoughts, I needed to talk to him now, find out what he did with the note she left. I stood up, slid my phone in my pocket, looked in the mirror to wipe away the tears away that I didn't know I was crying. Then walked out, I walked slowly down the steps and into the living room where everyone sat. I crossed my arms and looked to Ross, he looked up seeing me and frowned.

"babe... what's wrong?" His family shouldn't know about Ev...

"I need to talk to you... now." I stated. He quickly stood up and padded over to me, pulling me into a hug. 

"why are you crying?" He asked me. I pulled away from him and looked at his brother's and Del.

"sorry guys. We need to go..." They nodded and said their goodbyes. I walked out of Ross' house and to my car, I turned around and held out my hand. 

"I'm driving." I told him, he nodded and handed my keys. Not wanting to say anything further. I took the keys and got in.

The drive back was quiet, Ross would often turn to me and beg me to tell him what was wrong. I never said a word, I needed to get my thoughts together so I could talk to him when we arrived at my place.

Once I parked I got out and walked inside and to the stairs. The elevator ride wouldn't be pleasant with Ross begging me, I figured if I took the stairs it'd be easier and faster.

"Skylar." Ross' voice echoed through the hallway. I ignored him and walked to my apartment, I unlocked the door and got inside. The only reason I was this pissed was because I knew he wasn't even planning to tell me, Protecting or not...

"babe, please tell me why you're mad?" He begged again as he shut and locked my front door. 

"because Ross... You wern't planning on even telling me." I hissed turning around to look at him. He froze and looked at me, oblivious.

"w-what do you mean?"

"Where's the note Ross?" I sighed while crossing my arms. His lips slightly parted as he finally comprehended what I was talking about. "well?" I finally said when he continued standing there like a statue.

"Skylar... Ev... She was on the phone, wasn't she?" I nodded. "and she told you?" I nodded again. "look I was only trying to protect you." He mumbled as he moves closer to me, I drop my arms and run my fingers through my hair. 

"I know. I'm sorry okay, I'm just pissed you didn't tell me. I don't want you getting hurt through this either." I groaned. Ross was only inches away from me, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his chest. 

"I know baby girl." Ross uttered.

"Can I see the note?" I wondered, pulling away slightly to see his face. 

"I don't know if that's a good idea... I don't want you worrying more." 

"Ross, please. I'm fine." he sighed and pulled a folded piece of paper from his pocket. He looked at me while he placed the note in my hand. I unfolded it and began reading...

 You thought it was over didn't you. 

You thought I wouldn't come back to get you.

Well you were wrong hunny. I'm here, and I'm always watching. 

I know where you live, I know where your precious Ross lives.
