Love Falls Forever

Arcade.

After we ate, the guys and Del decided we would all go to the arcade today. When we pulled in all of us were almost jumping with excitement. We ran in and began playing any and every game. While I was playing a basketball game Skylar must have wandered off because when I had finished she wasn’t beside me anymore. I figured she probably wanted to go play some other game so I went about my business.

“hey Ross have you seen Sky?” Ryland asked me.

“no, I think she went to go play some other games why?”

“because we can’t find her.” Riker exclaimed. Worry began settling in my stomach as my brows pulled together. Everyone stood here in front of me except Rydel and Skylar.

“where’s Delly?” I asked. They all shrugged.                               

“can’t find her either.” El told me.

“they probably went to go play some other games or something.” I chuckled, realizing I’m getting myself worried for nothing.

“they’re not in the arcade.” Rocky said.

“oh…”

“YO BOYS!” Rydel yelled from across the arcade. All of us looked over and smiled in relief.

“gotcha some lunch!” Skylar laughed holding up two large trays stacked with food. We all ran over and stood in front of them. I leaned down and kissed Skylar’s cheek.

“see I told you. Nothing to worry about.” I said to the guys. They all laughed and nodded.

“hey for once it wasn’t you who was worried.” El said lightly punching me in the arm; I laughed and shoved three French fries in my mouth. We all sat down and a large booth in the corner of the arcade and began eating lunch. I had noticed Skylar wasn’t eating, only sipping on a large cup of soda.

“babe why aren’t you eating?” I quietly asked.

“Skylar and I already ate.” Rydel confirmed.

“oh.” I laughed and kissed Sky’s cheek.

“so uh guys…” Skylar cleared her throat while looking up at all of us.

“yeah.” The guys and Delly said in sync.

“I uh I’ve been thinking…” we all looked at her confused. “you know how I’m supposed to leave in a couple weeks…” I sighed sadly, I couldn’t let her go… it break me.

“yeah.” Everyone mumbled as they put their heads down, including me.

“I’m not going.” My head jolted up, I looked at her in shock.

“I thought that’s what you wanted?” Rydel asked.

“it was. But now I see everything I want is right in front of me.” She smiled widely at all of us. She was staying, for us.

“oh my gosh babe!” I smiled and pulled her into my arms. She wouldn’t be leaving me, I wouldn’t have to go a day without her. I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. But then it occurred to me… “are you sure this is what you want?” I asked. She looked up at me and smiled.

“of course. Nothing can compare to what I have here.” Her eyes twinkled while looking into mine.

“I love you so much!”

“I love you too Ross.” She giggled and kissed my lips.

My baby wouldn’t leave me, now she wanted to stay. To be with us, to be happy.
