1 month later.
My stomach was growing within days. I had a small baby bump now and to be completely honest, I love it! Ross is never to far away from me, and when were alone in the night, he cuddles me and touches his hand to my belly. His smile is brighter now, his laugh is more cheerful, even his eyes sparkle more. Sometimes he talks to our baby making me laugh at his adorable, squeaky voice. All of us seem so much happier, but Ross, something clicked inside him. He doesn't seem to worry much now, he's always smiling which makes my smile never leave too. I love this Ross, this fearless, cheerful, adorable Ross.
I am a month into my pregnancy and have yet to feel a kick. Ross can't wait for our baby to kick just so he can feel the movement of our child growing inside me. It's honestly a strange process, and feels quite weird. I'd have to say though, through out the crazy cravings, strange hormones. I like the idea of mine and Ross' child being inside me, the picture that grows inside my mind, sometimes their a little different like... a small boy with bleach blonde hair like Ross, and his hazel eyes. Or light brown hair. His little nose would look just like Ross' his smile even. Or if I pictured a girl, she would have his hair too.
That party Rydel wanted me to go to, I ended up never going. I could care less about a party, plus Ross didn't want me going. Rydel and the rest of the Lynch siblings decided not to go either, instead they hung out with Ross and I.
Today is June twenty fourth, the day Ross and I find out the gender of our child. As we pulled into the doctors office I stiffened. I know I have to go for my check ups and tests for the baby, but I would rather home birth than have a stranger help me. Ross entwined our fingers together as we walked through the doors of the large building. Just at his touch I instantly calm down, something about how gentle he is, and they way his skin feels against mine, calms me. The woman had called me in so Ross and I walked back into a small room and waited in silence.
"babe?" Ross said quietly.
"yes?" I answered, looking up into his twinkling hazel eyes.
"you okay?" I nodded and gave him a reassuring smile.
"I am with you beside me." He grinned and gently pressed his hand against my cheek, he moved his thumb back and forth while staring deep into my eyes.
"I love you." he gleamed before pressing his lips onto mine. I wrapped my left arm around his neck and gently moved my fingers in through his hair. He moved his other hand up and cupped my face with both hands. We stayed like that, kissing until we heard the door open.
"hello Skylar, Ross, I'm Dr. Rois" He greeted us, we stood up and shook the doctors hand. "so you're here to find out the gender of your little stinker there huh?" He laughed, I smiled along with Ross and nodded. "alright, well if you would just follow me and we can get started right away." He clucked and walked out of the room. Ross wrapped his arm around my waist as we followed the doctor.
I laid down on a hard bed and lifted the bottom of my shirt up, then unbuttoned my pants. Like Dr. Rois told me too. He rubbed a cold gel onto my stomach sending chills down my spine. Ross sat beside me holding my hand to keep me calm. I watched as the doctor moved a wand across my stomach.
"If you look here the picture might pop up." He told us, Ross and I kept watching the screen until a picture spread across it. In the center of the black sat a large shaded grey... well blob. I chuckled until the doctor zoomed in. You could just make out the form of our baby's head and arms. My smile widened as Ross looked at me with the brightest smile. His eyes sparkled more and more each second he looked at me.
"and the gender..." the doctor paused and looked at the screen once more. "Skylar, Ross looks like you two are having a lovely baby girl." Tears of joy welled up in my eyes as mine and Ross' giggles filled the room. I moved on my side and wrapped my arms tightly around Ross' neck, my cheeks began to hurt from smiling so much. But I loved it. This moment right now... is definitely my happiest moment. Ross pulled back and looked into my eyes.
"A baby girl!" He squeaked and kissed me hard on the lips. When Ross and I pulled from our time stopping kiss, the doctor handed me a wipe and left the room with a smile. I wiped off the gel on my stomach and buttoned my pants, then fixed my shirt. Once I stood up I jumped into Ross' arms and let out a laugh. Ross spun me around once then rested his forehead against mine. I tightened my legs around his waist and rested my hands against his cheeks.
"This is amazing!" I cried cheerfully.
"best moment in my entire life! I could never ask for anything better. I love you so much Skylar Nicole!" Ross gleamed and pressed his lips against mine again.

When we arrived back at Ross' house we ran inside to tell the others.
"Guys!!!!! Were home!!" Ross screamed and laughed, I don't think I have ever seen him this happy. I love it! They all ran down stairs including Mark and Stormie.
"Did you find out the gender!?" Rydel yipped. Ross nodded dramatically. "well spill boy spill!!!"
"it's a girl!" Ross and I both squealed then laughed. Everyone cheered and giggled along with us. Ross wrapped his arms tight around me and hugged me. "happiest day of my life!" he chuckled. He knelled down and gently pressed his hand to my stomach then kissed it. "this is for you my little girl." he said loudly. I watched as he stood up and began to skip around the living room. "IT'S THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!" he sang from the spongebob cartoon. I giggled and gently touched my belly. He was right, it really is the best day ever.
