Love Falls Forever

stopped.

I jumped to my feet and dashed out the door. I quickly rushed and snatched my keys off the counter before running as fast as I could out the door and down the stairs. I made it to my car and drove ten miles per hour over the speed limit. I had to know Skylar was okay... If she's not there... I... I don't know what I'll do... 

I had little faith that she would be there... Maybe Riker was right... Ev had got to her... I parked my car and booked through the park. A mother was down pushing her little boy on the swings as I ran down the small hill. 

"Sir." The woman spoke just before I ran past them. I stopped and looked up at her. 

"yes?" 

"are you alright?" she paused and walked towards me. "you look frightened."

"no, no ma'am I'm alright. Thank you for asking though." I gave her a smile. 

"what's wrong dear?" 

"um... nothing..." I tried walking away, she grabbed my arm. 

"please tell me, maybe I can help you." she said looking back at her son.

"I... My girlfriend's missing." I choked, her eyes widened.

"oh my..." 

"but I think I may know where she is. I doubt she's there... but if not then she may be in danger. Please do me a favor?" I asked she nodded. "take your son and go home. Please. someone is after her, and I don't want to risk putting any other lives at stake." She nodded again and quickly picked up her little boy. "thank you ma'am."

"Ross" The little boy spoke quietly. I looked at him confused.

"hunny ho-"

"Ross Lynch... from Austin and Ally." the little boy smiled. I returned one and nodded.

"Ross... I knew you looked familiar." the woman said then held out her hand. "before I leave. I'm Jessica and this is Brady." I smiled and shook her hand.

"can I have your autograph?" Brady asked. 

"I can't right now buddy. I really have to go... but um... I can give you my number." I said the first thing that came to mind. Jessica handed me her phone and I quickly typed my number in. "okay here. Alright, be careful and hurry home. have a good night." I yelled as I ran through the park. I ran and ran and ran through the trees. It was so dark I was tripping over every little stick. 

"please let her be there please..." I begged God. I somehow knew she wouldn't... 

I could see the moon through the trees in an open spot up ahead. when I looked closer I could see it reflecting off of a pond or something. I ran faster. When I ran through the trees I found a large open spot. A small pond reflected the moon and tall weeds surrounded it making the setting seem calm and relaxing. Logs sat perfectly as if they were used for chairs. A large bolder was off to the far right in front of many more trees. This small, perfect place was in the middle of the woods, this was the place where Skylar had been going. This was Skylar and her fathers place. 

"Skylar!" I called out but got no reply. "please baby... please be here." I begged once more. I looked up at the moon then around the pond hoping to spot her around somewhere. "baby please." I gulped. I began walking around the place in search to find the only one I needed in life. But sadly my search had no positive results... Skylar wasn't here...

I fell on my knees and looked back up to the moon. "why?" I let a single tear fall. After sitting there staring at the pond for a moment I got up and walked to where I entered. I turned around with a sigh looking at the beautiful place one last time hoping that if I looked back She would be standing there. I ran my fingers through my hair and gazed around the spot, before I turned to leave my eye caught a sparkle. I looked closer seeing a small piece of metal shinning under the moon light. I walked closer slightly squinting when I realized... that small piece of metal was a ring, and that ring was attached to my only true love. She was laying there in the grass hidden by some trees, her hair flowed out in back of her but I could not see her beautiful face. It was hidden from the darkness. 

I ran as fast as I could to her side and lifted her into my arms. 

"Skylar! Skylar!" I breathed as I felt her skin against mine. I pulled her close to me realizing she was not awake... "Skylar, baby... Please wake up." my voice was almost a whisper. her head dangled over my arm and her arms laid beside her in my lap. "baby?" I gulped and touched my hand to her face. 

"mhm... Ross?" she mumbled quietly. 

"yes Skylar. It's okay baby." I smiled as her eyes fluttered open. 

"w-what are you doing her-e? H-how did you f-find me?" she stuttered. This wasn't just a sleepy Skylar, she sounded off, like something was wrong.

"Don't worry about that. What happened?" I wondered. The moon shined perfectly on her now, her eyes were droopy and bloodshot. her skin was pale and she could barely lift her arm. Something was wrong...

"I-I was walking here... Sh-she found me... but I got away. She stabbed me with something, b-by the time I got he-here I could barely keep my e-eyes open. I dragged myself here so I was hid-hidden before I could p-ass out." she muttered, her voice barely audible. 

"it's okay now baby. I got you, I won't let anything happen. I'm gonna bring you home." I said and planted a small kiss to her forehead. she nodded as I picked her up. Her head leaned against my shoulder and her arms hung below her. I fixed it so her arms were laying across her stomach and began carrying her through the dark woods. Before I was even half way out she had fallen unconscious again. I walked through the park and towards my car when I heard foot steps coming my way. 

"you found her." Someone said. I turned around seeing Jessica standing there smiling. 

"yes I did. Jess..." I paused. "it's okay if I call you that right?" she nodded. "okay you really need to get home. Like I said someones out here. They drugged Skylar." I told her. I had forgotten she didn't know Skylar's name but I figured she had caught on. 

"okay. I had to come back to make sure you would be okay though. I wanted to make sure you found her." She told me. 

"thank you Jessica. If you ever need me you have my number." I told her. She smiled and nodded then left. I walked to my car and slid Skylar in the passenger seat, buckling her then walking to the drivers side. Before I could open my door I heard leaves rustle behind me coming from the woods. Someone was watching me... And I knew who it was. I opened my door and turned to look towards the woods. 

"you were waiting for her. you knew for some reason she would be here today didn't you. You fucking son of a bitch don't touch Skylar again. Because if you do I will find you, I don't fucking care if your a woman or not I'll kill you myself!" I hissed. I saw her figure on the outline of the woods. I was right, Ev was watching me and she could hear every word I was saying. 

I jumped in my car and drove off. I knew it wouldn't be safe going back to Skylar's apartment so I drove back to my house. When I pulled up I could see my family looking out the window. 

"Ross how come you came back? you're suppose to be at Skylar's waiting for her?" Rydel asked as she walked down the path way. I didn't answer her, I walked to the passenger side of my car and pulled Skylar out. "you found her!" Del gasped. I carried her inside and to the couch as my family followed close behind asking multiple questions. 

"I found her in the woods, at her and her father's place. I found some pictures of her in her closet and hoped she'd be there... When I found her she woke up slightly just long enough to tell me that Ev found her when she was walking through the park, she got away but Ev stabbed her with something. I think Ev drugged her." I paused and looked at Skylar, her skin was so pale it began to worry me. "When I brought her to my car I saw Ev. She was watching me from the woods. She didn't try to do anything, so I left." I told them. My mother nodded and checked Skylar's pulse. 

"she must have overdosed her. Skylar barely has a pulse. Her breathing's slowing." she looked at me. I didn't know what to do now... I was worried, and frightened for Skylar and so pissed at Ev for doing this. "Ross." Mom snapped her fingers in my face. i looked up at her. "Skylar's heart is barely beating."

and it felt as if my heart had stopped...
