Love Falls Forever

I lied.

Those words tore me down. They were true but they hurt. knowing he feels like I do gives me relief but more stress... This is our last day here and tomorrow I will have to sit in the same car as him, being so close to each other. i know I'm going to end up going to the water park today because I know Ross' family to well, they wont go without me... As I sat on Riker's couch Rydel and Rik walked in. 

"he knows you saw what happen..." Del sighed. How did he know? I nodded. "he saw you walking away after he said that..." I nodded again showing no emotion. 

"better topic... are you coming with?" Rik asked. I shook my head. "then were not going either..." I shook my head again and stood up. 

"okay..." I muttered quietly. They both smiled and we walked to their parents cabin. When we walked in everyone was already there, dressed and ready to leave. Including Ross... His face was still red and blotchy from crying. He sat on the couch closest to me and when he raised his head his watery eyes landed on me. My stomach twisted and I clenched my jaw as my heart began to ache even though it was already shattered to pieces. His mouth opened but instead of words a small sob escaped his lips. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, pulling myself together. "ready?" I asked everyone. They nodded knowing what was going on between Ross and I and pilled out the door. Ross and I were the last in the house. I quickly pulled the door open but was stopped when I felt Ross' hand grab mine. 

"please let me explain." he begged me getting on his knees. 

"you don't need too. I understand." I muttered.

"you do?" He sniffled. 

"yeah.. I understand you don't want me. it's okay." I gulped holding in every tear I so desperately wanted to shead. 

"no baby please." he sobbed pulling on my hand. 

"you don't deserve to give me an explanation." I took a breath and pulled my hand away from him. 

"no Skylar please no." he wailed. 

"i told you... I'm done." I said before walking out the door. I climbed in the van and sat next to Riker. Nobody said anything while Ross climbed in sniffing and wiping his eyes. I have never seen him such a mess. 

When we reached the water park Ross had calmed down and his face wasn't as red as before. "kids." Mark said while looking at us after we entered the park. everyone looked at him. "just have fun." we all nodded and went to go "have fun" I walked with Rydel as she talked about her friends wedding, even though I wasn't really listening. I was in a daze, picturing Ross' face when he looked up at me from kneeling on the ground begging me to let him explain. I would like to hear his explanation for cheating on me but I don't think I should let him explain. After going on some water slides with the guys including Ross... I went to grab some water. As I paid and began walking away I bumped into a man. I knew him. I couldn't remember how I knew him or how I came to know him but I remembered his face. 

"hey Skylar." he smirked. 

"um hey... sorry I forgot your name..." 

"Dallas. oh right you had that accident. So you don't remember me at all?" I shook my head. 

"I know your face..." I chuckled. 

"wheres Ross?" he wondered. 

"oh um.. we... we broke up." I admitted. 

"oh really?" He smirked devilishly. oh boy... who was this kid...

"yeah..." 

"that really sucks... I'm sorry to hear that." he said hugging me. 

"yeah me too." I hugged him back. 

"Skylar!" Ross yelled. I looked over after pulling from Dallas' arms to see Ross running this away.

"oh he's here and you broke up... weird." Dallas laughed and rested his arm on my shoulder. 

"get away from him!" Ross hissed as he grabbed my arm and pulled me away. "what the hell are you doing here!? how did you find us?" he yelled attracting multiple peoples attention. 

"Ross stop. Shut up people are looking." I swatted his hand away from me. 

"answer me!" he growled at Dallas. 

"I'm taking a vacation with my girl friend calm down dude." Dallas laughed. 

"skylar let's go." Ross grabbed my arm and yanked me away from Dallas. 

"stop Ross. Leave me alone." I said pulling my arm back away from him. He looked at me with worried eyes. 

"please Skylar just listen to me. I don't need you getting hurt. please" Ross begged as he looked in my eyes. I turned to Dallas and smiled at him. 

"well I will catch up with you later alright. It was nice seeing you Dallas." I hugged him goodbye and left with Ross. Seeing Ross looked that worried means there must be something that happened between Dallas and I. As we walked back I felt a sting coming from my lower back. I ignored it at first but it kept getting worse. "ow." I muttered and grabbed the spot. I felt a small pin in my skin. I took it out and looked at it in the palm of my hand. 

"what? whats wrong?" Ross' voice was laced with panic as he looked into my palm. There was a tiny bit of blood on the tip of the pin. "he did that... fuck Skylar come on you need to go sit down." he wrapped his arm around my waist and walked me over to a small table. I sat down and he knelled down to look at me. "are you okay? how do you feel?" He questioned. I hated being so close to him when I just broke up with him less than twenty four hours ago. 

"fine." I answered back. I was a little dizzy but I didn't want to say anything. "I need some water." I mumbled. 

"Riker!" Ross yelled over to the pool where his family splashed around. Riker jumped out of the water and ran over to us. 

"yeah? what's wrong?" he asked. 

"can you get Skyar some water? please. She met up with Dallas." Ross gulped. Riker looked down at me with worried eyes. He could tell I didn't want to be near Ross right now. 

"you go get the water. I'll stay with her." Riker half smiled at me. I was glad when Ross didn't say anything further as he jumped up and ran to get me some water. "are you okay?" Rik wondered. I nodded. As Ross came running back over with my water Dallas walked passed up smirking and winking at me. Ross growled and stood in front of me. I shrugged it off and drank my water. A few minutes later I felt fine again. As I went to stand up Ross stopped me by wrapping his arm around my waist. 

"I'm fine. Please don't touch me." I sighed and walked away from Riker and him. I could hear them following behind, but keeping there distance. After about around noon we all gathered and sat to eat lunch. Neither I or Ross ate. When everyone finished lunch Rydel and I went to tan while the boys went to go on the 'mega slides.' 

"I'm sorry about what he did to you... I don't understand why he would do that." Rydel muttered. 

"it's fine... don't worry about it." I tried smiling. 

"Skylar are you okay? honestly?" I had to think... I really wasn't okay. it hurt me a lot... but my heart was cold. I could only feel little things now...

"yeah... I'm okay." I lied.
