"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S A LESBIAN?" I scream at AJ as we walk back to school.
"What? You honestly thought she was straight?" he chuckled.
"Uh yeah. I mean you guys were like touching each other a lot..."
"Doesn't mean we're dating."
Does that mean I still have a chance with AJ...?
We get to the front of the school and he opens the door for me. As soon as we walk in, Ms.Rose stares us down.
"Uh oh...she was waiting for us...," AJ whispers to me.
"Uh hi...h-how... a-are you Ms.Rose?" I stutter.
"Andrew, detention after school," she says with anger.
"It's AJ," he muttered.
"'Marceline. Is this really how you want to start off your school year? You have potential in being a good student. But you better hang out with the right people...," she looks at Andrew and shakes her head, "AJ, can I talk to you in my classroom real quick? Marceline, why don't you get ready for P.E.? Your P.E. clothes are in your locker."
I look in my Student Information Packet to find my locker number. 238, combination is 3-8-6-0-9. I open it up and find red shorts, a gray t-shirt, and what seems to be textbooks. How did I forget to get my Biology and Literature textbook?!? I don't worry too much about it. I head into the girls' locker room, even though I was about 15 minutes early. I then realized the problem about my scars. Good thing I brought my makeup. I applied foundation, concealer, and some nude eyeshadow. It looked as if nothing had happened to my arm. I put on setting spray and waited it for it to dry. I got 10 minutes. Just then, Jay walked in.
"Oh hey, Marcy," she waved.
"Are you lesbian?" I say straight to the point.
"AJ told you?"
"Yup."
"Oh...well there's no point in lying."
"So you are?"
"Yup."
She turns around and drops all her stuff, "But I don't want just anyone at this school."
She grabs my shoulders and pushes me against the wall, "I want you."
