I went to take a shower, and AJ hopped in with me. I was scared of him seeing all of the scars, but I trusted him. I turned on the faucet and we both headed in. He started to kiss me, under the running water. My scars were more visible now, but who cares? We finish washing off (well... sort of washing off), and we head downstairs for a snack.
I grab out some iced tea, and a giant bag of Hot Cheetos. We share the bag, and he starts talking.
"Uh so...," AJ looked down at my arms.
"I have depression. But I refuse to take those antidepressants. I believe medicine isn't the only way to fix sadness."
"Ah I see...but why do you cut?"
"Cause when I'm alone, I'm alone with my thoughts. And my thoughts aren't always positive. I haven't cut since Sunday. (Today is Tuesday.) Probably cause I'm always with you."
I smile at him and eat a chip. He grabs my hand.
"You know I love you, right?" he said with a smile.
"Yes, but honestly I think I might love you more."
I laughed.
"Uh...what're you talking about? You know I do."
"Nah."
"Ah! You crossed the line!"
He tries to tickle me since I'm waaaay too ticklish. I run into the living room and he starts to chase. Too bad he's a football, basketball, and a track star cause he caught up to me in like five seconds. He carries me back into the kitchen and then puts me down. He kisses my forehead.
"Oh while we're talking, I want to get to know you better."____________
