Chapter VIII History

Mikayla follows Alex around the camp as he gives here a tour.  So far they have been to the cabins, the big house, the stables, the lake, the green,  the different practice areas, the woods, the eating area, and the campfire.    They are currently heading to their next destination.  "So why did they call you Alexis?  I thought your name was Alex" says Mikayla.  "Cause that's my name" Alex replies.  Alex gives Mikayla the 'duh' face and Mikayla glares at him for a few seconds before giving him 'the really' face.  Alex just rolls his eyes.

"Demanding much" asks Alex.  "Arrogant much" retorts Mikayla.  Alex comeback is, "Control freak much?"  Mikayla fires back, "Self-centered much?"  Alex glares at Mikayla and Mikayla returns the look.  Alex says, "Whatever.  My name is Alexis Maximus.  Most people just call me Alex.  The people in charge call me Alexis.  Then there are a few that call me Max.  The only person left is you then, and you call me Alec.  Well we are here."  Mikayla looks over for the first time to see a beach.  She stands there and looks around.  Alex asks, "Beautiful, isn't it?"

They look at each other and Mikayla just nods yes.  They continue to stare at each other until a girl all of a sudden wraps her arms around Alex waist and rest her head on his shoulder.  The girl has red hair slightly longer than her shoulders and blue eyes.  She is slightly taller than Alex putting her at 5'6".  See is wearing armor over her clothes and has a sword at her side.  As soon as Alex feels her, he grabs her hand and flips her.  As soon as her body has made contact with the ground, Alex kneels on her chest and has a sword at her throat.  Where did he get that sword?  I know he wasn't caring one Mikayla thinks.

"What the heck red" Alex asks.  Girl retorts, "Me what the heck,you what the heck!"  Alex says, "You know you lost the right do that."  Girl says, "That's what you say now-"  "And will forever say" Alex says interrupting her.  Girl just smirks and says, "I know you want me and I'll be waiting."  Alex scoffs and says, "Go to tartarus."  Girl notices Mikayla for the first time and asks, "Who's the rebound?"  At the same time Alex asks, "Excuse me" while Mikayla asks, "Rebound?"

Girl says, "Hi,I'm Amy, Alec's girlfriend."  Alex says, "One, its Alex and two, EX-girlfriend."  Amy says, "No girlfriend, we are just on a short break."  "What don't you get about that there is no more us" asks Alex.  Alex gets off Amy and stands up.  Alex puts the cap back on riptide and puts riptide into pocket.  Alex grabs Mikayla hand and starts walking somewhere else.

Alex says, "Come one Mika, lets go."  Amy shouts, "You'll be back, like before!"  Alex yells back, "In your dreams red!"  "Just remember your my girlfriend and no one elses" shouts Amy.  "You don't own me" shouts Alex.  Alex and Mikayla walk off.  Amy is still on ground.  She stands up and dusts herself off.  Amy says, "They always come back."
