Chapter XVI I Choose....

Mikayla says, "I'm telling you to choose." Alex looks confused and asks, "Choose what?" Mikayla says, "If you want me in your life or not."  "Why do I have to choose" asks Alex.  Mikayla screams, "You're so infuriating!"  "That's not you were saying last time we talked" says Alex.  Alex smirks at Mikayla.  Mikayla glares at Alex.  Mikayla gets up and starts to walk off.  Alex is confused and asks, "Where are you going?"  Mikayla answers, "I'm leaving."  

The smirk on Alex's face vanishes and says, "You're what?  You promised you wouldn't."  "I must have been talking to your twin then" says Mikayla.  Mikayla walks off.  Alex just sits there shocked trying to process everything.  Alex gets up and runs to the Ares cabin.  She opens the door to see Mikayla packing her backpack.  Alex beginsto beg, "Mika ple-"  Mikayla interrupts and says, "You made your choice, now I've made my choice."  Alex just stands there looking at Mikayla.  Mikayla finishes packing.  She grabs her backpack and walks past Alex to the door.  She stops at the door and turns around.

Mikayla says, "Goodbye Alec, good luck in everything."  Mikayla walks off.  Alex just stands there looking at the door where Mikayla was.  Alex hears laughter.  She sees Miles and Carly walking towards the cabin.  Miles pushes Carly against the wall and starts to kiss her.  Alex just stares at them.  "Miles, not here" Carly says laughing.  Miles stops.  Miles and Carly walk into the cabin and see Alex there smirking at them.  Miles ad Carly go to speak, but Alex holds up a hand.  They close their mouths.

Alex says, "Don't even try to deny it, I saw.  I'm happy for you two."  Miles looks a littleconcerned asks, "You ok man?"  Alex responds, "Ya, why wouldn't I be?"  Miles goes to say something,but Carly asks, "Wait, why are you in the Ares cabin?"  Alex says, "I was about to leave."  Miles knows that Alex isn't telling them something and says, "Alex-"  Alex just says, "I have to do something, I'll find you later."  Alex walks out of the cabin and closes the door.  She then runs to the entrance of camp.  Alex mumbles to herself, "Please not be to late."  She reaches the entrance and starts looking around frantically.  She finally sees Mikayla.  

Alex shouts, "Mika!"  Mikayla stops walking and turns around.  She is shocked when she sees Alex.  Alex starts to walk towards her.  Alex begs, "Please don't go."  Mikayla looks away from Alex and says, "I have to."  Mikayla turns around and starts to walk off.  Alex stops walking.  Alex shouts, "I love you Mikayla!"  Mikayla stops and turns around.  Mikayla in disbelief whispers, "What?"  Alex whispers, "I love you."  Alex walks over to Mikayla, she grabs her face, and kisses her.  Mikayla is shocked and doesn't respond.  After a few seconds she kisses back and wraps her arms around Alex neck.  They separate and Alex rest her forehead on her forehead.  Alex says, "I choose you Mika."
