Demigod

Chapter XXXIX Attacking The Main Base

The three groups were in position.  The first group consisted of Alex, Mikayla, Miles, and Carly.  The second group consisted of Aphrodite and Apollo kids.  The third group consisted of everyone else.  Alex says, "Lets go."  Group one walks to a  side door.  Alex and Miles work on opening the door while Mikayla and Carly are the look out.  After a few minutes they open the door and they all walk in.  They make their way to the commanders office.  Thy turn the corner and run into Amy.

"Well well well" Amy says, "What do we have here?  For an Athena kid you are quite stupid Alex.  You escape and then you walk right back in.  Although you did save us all the trouble of capturing you again, so thanks."  "No problem" Alex replies.  Amy says, "I see your still the same old Alex. You won't be this cocky much longer."  "I can say the same about you" Alex says.  Amy looks confused.  "What are you talking about" Amy asks, "I clearly have the upper hand and I am on the winning side."  "You sure about that" asks Alex.

Amy says, "I would asks what you are talking about, but I don't care, but I know your gonna tell me whether I want to hear it or not."  "Bingo" Alex says, "You should really read your bosses plans for after he wins."  Amy says, "I'm gonna be second in command."  Alex shakes his head no. Amy says, "I don't have time for your games, I'm taking you and your friends tot he commander."  "Sorry to disappoint you, but change of plans" Alex says, "We aren't going anywhere."  "What are you talking about, I have you surrounded" Amy says.  Alex just continues to smile.  "Why are you still smiling" Amy asks.

"You know what, you are right" Alex says, "After I escape I come back here.  I only bring my friends."  Amy asks, "Would you stop going in a circle and just get to the point?"  Alex says, "You want to know a fun fact, I'll just tell you it.  Hermes kids love causing trouble."  Amy looks at Alex confused and then looks behind Alex.  Her eyes go wide and Alex smiles.  Alex says, "She finally figured it out."  Amy composes herself and says, "Bravo Alex, bravo."  Amy turns tot he guards and says, "Find Miles."  Alex says, "I also forgot to mention something else."  Alex pulls a button out of her pocket and presses a button.  There is a loud explosion.

Alex, Mikayla, and Carly attack the guards and Amy.  After they knock out the guards and Amy, they run to where group two is fighting the monsters and enemy demigods.  While group one and two are fighting, group three comes in and starts releasing the captured demigods.  Once all the demigods are released and everyone is outside, Miles pulls out a button.  Miles pushes the button and the base explodes.  "Lets head home and rest so that part two can be put into action" Alex says.
