Chapter VII The Deal

Alex and guy start searching for MIkayla.  Alex says, "If we don't find her, I'm dead."  "Relax, she couldn't have gotten that far and besides she doesn't even know the camp" guy says.  Alex says, "Great, thanks for that.  Some people loose their swords or helmets or personal items,but no, I manage to loose a person, a PERSON man.  How do you even loose a person?"  Guy says sarcastically, "Jeez, way to stay positive."  Alex glares at him.  "You know that person has a name, right" guy asks.  Alex says frustrated, "This is pointless, we have checked basically everywhere."

Guy says, "Relax, she probably got lost in the woods or something, I mean the only places she knows in the camp are the hospital and the entrance."  Alex stops walking and turns around to face guy.  "What" guy asks.  Alex smiles and says, "Dude, your  genius."  Guy is shocked and asks, "I am?"  "I know where she is, come on" Alex says.  Alex leads guy to the entrance.  They see Mikayla trying to get out and Carly blocking her way.  Carly has long blonde hair and is dressed like the guy except she has blue jeans on and is about 5' 3".

Guy asks, "How did you-"  Alex interrupts him and answers, "Lucky guess, now lets go retrieve Mika and you can stop and say hi to your girlfriend."  Guy says, "W-what?  She's not my girlfriend."  "Sure, whatever you say" Alex replies.  They walk up to the girls.  Mikayla says, "Stop and let me leave."  Carly says, "I can't.  You live here now."  "No I don't" says Mikayla.  Alex clears throat, they stop arguing and look over.  "As much as I love a good cat fight, I have other things I need to do.  So come on Mika" says Alex.

Mikayla says, "I'm not going anywhere with you,I'm leaving."  Alex says, "Tell you what, in a couple of days is the annual capture the flag game. So when your chosen you can challenge me to it."  "And why would I do that" asks Mikayla.  "If my team wins, you stay" replies Alex.  "Ok that's fair.  And if I win" asks Mikayla.  Alex responds, "But if you win, you can leave."  Guy and Carly yell, "Alexis!"  Carly then asks Alex, "Are you crazy?"  Guy says, "You can't do that!  One, are you crazy and two, Chiron will not go for that."

Alex ignores them and sticks out hand.  "So, do we have a deal" asks Alex.  Mikayla thinks about this for a couple seconds and then shakes Alex hand.  "Deal" Mikayla says.  Alex says, "Since your planning on staying now, I should give you that tour."  "Lead the way Alec" Mikayla says.  Alex says, "Bye Carly.  Bye Miles." Alex and Mikayla walk off.  Carly and Miles just stand there.  Once Alex and Mikayla are gone, Miles turns to Carly.

Carly asks, "Did he just-"  Miles interrupts and says, "Yep."  Carly asks, "And did she just-"  AGain Miles interrupts and answers, "Yep."  Carly asks, "And he just-"  Miles for the third time interrupts her and answers, "Yep."  "Well then, we have to make sure we do everything in our power to make sure Mikayla team looses" says Carly.  "Normally I wouldn't do something like this, but its for Alex.  Lets do this" says Miles.  They look at each other and smirk.
