You know, I write just because it's my hobby. It's some type of strategy to keep my delusions in bay. I don't really care if people actually like my story or not but I'm happy if someone actually appreciates them. A lot of stories, a lot of worlds, compacted in one brain of a young child.
I just noticed that to make your stories known, you should know a lot of people. People who knows people who knows people who knows people who knows people who knows people and so on. This will mostly raise your reader counts. The more famous people you follow and keep updated with, the more people that will follow you and will keep updated. Mind your story covers, story descriptions, tags (tags are really important to make your story known), and first chapter. The first chapter usually attracts the readers, they will decide by the first chapter if they will continue reading or not so make the first chapter as interesting as much as you can!
You can also use well-written books as references and ideas that will make you think about the things that will attract different readers. It will also widen your vocabulary if you're into that stuff.
And finally, be comfortable! Don't stress yourself trying to be perfect in other's perspective if you don't see yourself as perfect. Your perspective matters more than others. You will never be a successful writer if you don't believe that you will.
I know I suck at writing, I mean look at those worthless books that I published! And that, I don't have any rights to give you advices but... Whatever, right? :P
I lack a lot of stuffs to say about writing strategies but that goes for me as well because I need to learn thoss strategies if I want to be well-known. IF. But I doubt I'm that desperate.
This was useless. Why are you still reading this piece of crab book?!
I'm mind-drunk. Mentally drunk! Not really drinking anything but my mind acts like it's drunk. It usually acts like that so there's nothing wrong with it... As far as I know...
