Blindfolded, Oh Cruel Moonlight

Isn't it better
If the streets were lighter,
If the dogs aren't barking,
And people are walking?

Isn't it better
If my mind's a bit straighter,
If my mindset's a bit different,
A bit simple, a little commitment?

Isn't it better
If the world is brighter,
My vision's better,
My body's healthier?

Isn't it better to be blindfolded?
Hidden in sayings that are said,
Horrendous crimes, horrendous times,
Vicious people, mournful whines...

Moonlight, I tell you
How I love and adore you
So far from a dangerous world
If I could be with you, I would.

Now's not the time yet
It's forbidden if we met
So for now, I'll just watch from afar
And you can watch me from the stars...
