You stood up as well. "What do you mean?"
"Luciel, please come with me." The doctor dismissed your question. Seven glanced back at you and started to walk outside.
"I'm coming too." You started to follow them. The doctor turned around, glaring at you in a way that made your blood run cold. "Miss [Y/N]. You need to rest."
"But,"
"No buts. You are going to rest." The doctor turned and walked out of the room. Seven turned around and kissed your cheek. "Have some rest, okay? You deserve it." With that, he hurried out of the room and followed the doctor to where Saeran was.
You tried to entertain yourself. You read books, drew random doodles, listened to music and, even against the nurses strongest advise not to, you did some writing. But you spent most of the day worrying about Seven and Saeran. When you didn't have your earplugs in, you could hear doctors and nurses next door, rushing in and out of the room to retrieve various instruments and medicines. But what you paid interest to, was what Seven was saying. He was talking to his brother, telling him that everything would be alright, asking the doctors how he was doing. Concern filled his voice, and you knew that he obviously cared about his brother.
A female nurse came into your room later that day, giving you your dinner. You received roast chicken with vegetables and mashed potato. You didn't really feel like eating, but the nurse told you that you had to eat all of it to keep your strength up. You agreed reluctantly, knowing that she was right. You had eaten the potato and started on your chicken when a certain someone poked his head in through the curtains. "Hey [Y/N]. How are you feeling?"
"Seven!" You put your food on the bedside table and got up to greet him.
"Miss [Y/N]! You shouldn't be walking around!" The nurse stood up and you waved her off. "I'm fine, I'm fine." You told her as you walked over to Seven. He gave you a soft hug. Favouring your right arm, you hugged him back. You looked up at him. "I feel much better thanks."
"Good," He let go of you and glanced over your shoulder, "Chicken for dinner huh?"
"Yeah. I'm not that hungry though."
"You need to eat." Seven started walking over to your bed. He stopped in front of the nurse. "I can take it from here." He told her.
"Y-yeah, sure." She skittered out of the room. You sat down on your bed with a sigh. "I don't wanna eat." You pouted. Seven gave you your food. "Eat it all up or I'll have to feed you." You picked up your fork and stabbed a bit of chicken. "How's Saeran?" You asked before you put the chicken in your mouth. Seven's expression softened but he looked like he was going to cry. "He made it through surgery but it's touch and go from here," A tear spilt down his cheek, "The next forty-eight hours are critical. If he has any complications, the doctors don't think he'll make it."
"What happened?"
"His brain was swelling so there was a build up of pressure in his skull." He explained tapping the side of his head.
"Oh gosh," Your eyes widened, "That sounds horrible."
"Yeah. He'll make it though. He's tough."
