The frosted glass doors slid open as you walked out of the hospital. You put your hand up in front of your eyes to shield then from the glaring sun. "So bright!" You turned towards Seven, who laughed and put his sunglasses on.

There wasn't a cloud in sight and the sunlight reflected off the white pavement. Buildings towered over you and seemed to shimmer. Orange and brown leaves danced through the air as a man wearing dirty overalls used a blower vac to clear the path. Several red and yellow leaves still clung desperately to the trees, but it was definitely looking like Autumn. You stretched, happy to be out of the hospital. You had been in the hospital for a week, which seemed so much longer because they insisted that you rest. Walking across the pavement, you followed Seven as he lead you to where his car was parked.

The car's sleek white exterior shone, even though Seven had parked it undercover. He held out his key and pressed the unlock button. The car bleeped and the lights flashed. He had already put the few clothes that you had in the hospital in the car. They sat on the back seat in a bag. Seven walked around to the drivers door and got into the car. You opened your door and practically leapt into the car. As soon as you closed the door, you heard the car revving. Seven spoke from behind you, "I call this baby Elly." You laughed giddily. Seven sat, watching you with a grin. He had one hand on the steering wheel and the other arm was slung over the back of your seat. He revved the car again and you laughed harder, "Seven, stop!" He rose an eyebrow mockingly and revved the car loudly, drowning out your protests and laughter. He suddenly reversed out of the carpark. The tires squealed as he sped away from the hospital.

By the time Seven pulled up in your driveway, your ribs ached from laughter. You had laughed most of the way home, whether Seven was revving the engine, making jokes or you had the window down, laughing into the wind. You couldn't help it. You feel free and invincible. You got out of the car and breathed in deeply. You walked up to your front door and unlocked it. When you opened the door, you felt Seven's hand on the small of your back. You sighed. "Home sweet home."
