The wind came up in unexpected gusts. You pulled your hair back into a ponytail to stop it whipping your face. Instead, it billowed out to one side as you walked hand-in-hand with Seven along the beach. It was late afternoon and the sun was setting, tingeing the clouds fiery orange. It was only the first day of March, but it was already Autumn weather. The air had a nip to it, but it wasn't cold enough to wear your jumper. Seven's hand enclosed yours, making your hand warm. Seven slowed down and eventually stopped in front of a wooden bench next to a lamp. You looked up at him, "What's up Seven?"

"Nothing," he looked down at at you, "I just thought that we could get some fish and chips and have dinner here."

"Sure! That sounds good."

"So, you can sit here and I'll go get us some food." He gestured to the seat.

"Yep," You sat on the bench and saluted Seven, "I will protect this spot with my life." You laughed. Seven saluted back, "As you were soldier." And he walked across the road to the fish and chips shop. By then, the sun had almost disappeared behind the glistening waves. Most people were leaving the beach due to the wind and the fact that it was getting cold. You let your thoughts wander, spacing out. You were so lost in thought that you didn't even hear the footsteps behind you. What you did hear, was the voice behind you. "You're coming with me." Something blunt struck you on the back of your head and everything went black.

You're vision was double when you opened your eyes. You groaned and tried to rub your head. Then you realised that your hands were bound together behind your back. Your feet were also bound at the ankles. You blinked a few times, allowing your vision to clear. You were in an alleyway between two buildings. You turned your head, trying to get your bearings. From the neon sign flickering above the door, you decided that you were in between the fish and chip shop and the boutique shop next door. You sat up against the brick wall behind you and sighed. 'First I have to unbind myself.' You thought to yourself. You got to work. Eventually, you untied the rope that was binding your hands and feet. You stood up shakily, supporting yourself against a garbage bin. Your head throbbed painfully, but you knew that you should get out of the alleyway. Supporting yourself against the wall, you took a few shaky steps towards the road. Something cold pressed up against your throat. "I see that you're finally awake," A voice stated behind you, "Now, I think you should take it easy. I don't want my gem to damage itself."
