Since Seven had less work for the past ten days, he took you out more often than usual. You enjoyed every minute of it. He took you to the movies, restaurants and he even just invited you to go on walks with him, no matter how short they were. At one point you were walking down your street and you asked him why he took you out on five minute walks. He had smiled and squeezed your hand. "Just to spend five minutes with the love of my life."
But your favourite moments weren't the phone calls or when he complimented you. Your favourite moments were when he stole kisses from you. Under a crimson umbrella in the rain, on the swings at the park or in the shade of the big maple tree. Each time, the world around you seemed to fall away, leaving only you and Seven. It was a feeling that you had never experienced before. It was new and exciting every time. You loved the feeling of just you and Seven. There were no insecurities, no anxiety and no anger. Just you, Seven and the love you felt for each other.
Some mornings, Seven called you or texted you, and asked if you would like to do what he had planned for the day. He would pick you up in one of his cars and drive you. Other times, he knocked on your door and walked you to the destination. Either way, you were always more than happy to oblige.
But this morning was different. There was no phone call, no text, no knock on the door. Seven had work he had to complete. It was a large assignment and he thought it would take a few days to complete. When he told you about his work, he had also promised to finish it as soon as he could. Then he could spend more time with you. You told him not to push himself to much, reminding him that he needed to eat proper meals and have time to rest. It was mostly because you wanted him to stay healthy, but a little part of it was so that you could get some time away from him.
