Why Do We Fall

Chapter 15

Derek's POV
I wake up to a beautiful sight, it's Lexa just looking at me as I wake up. "I'm glad the babies aren't here to interrupt us" I say as I put Lexa on my stomach as I'm still laying down.

"Yes, I am glad about that too" Lexa said as a mischievous smile creeps up on her beautiful face. I start to kiss Lexa then I moved my kisses to pecks on the neck, I continued to foreplay.

After we both climaxed we laid down together, I see the morning sun shine on Lexa's green eyes. I get up and look out and stare into the lake that's in front of me, I hear Lexa's steps come from behind me. I get surprised when she wraps her arms around me, it kind of freighted me at first but now I'm fine with it.

"I'll make you a bath" I says after we finish hugging.

"Okay" Lexa replies.

I finish making the bath for Lexa and I see her undress in front of me, I get up to leave "have a good bath, trust me it's relaxing in hot water"
I say before I exit the bathroom.

"Alright" Lexa calmly said to me as I left the bathroom.

As I watch my beautiful wife come out of the bathroom I only smile at her, I don't speak to her I'm just smiling. "Lay down here I'll massage you" I ask as I put the bed covers down. Lexa complies and comes over to the bed she lays down on her stomach and I start to massage her back.

I continued to massage Lexa for a good hour in peaceful silence. This silence isn't awkward it's just peaceful for the both of us, I couldn't imagine what Indra, Clarke and Bellamy are doing now.

After I finished massaging her I get up to make some food for us. I look around and I find the vegetables and meat in the cabinet on the left of me. I crack my knuckles and start to prepare a meal for the both of us.

5 hours later..

"Beautiful the food is done" I say as I shake Lexa gently to be awaken.

"Mmmm" is all I hear from Lexa who's half up and half asleep.

"Get up" I say as I lift Lexa up from the bed, when I lift her up I go to the table where I placed the food. I gently put Lexa on the chairs we have.

After a good meal Lexa is fully awake and happy as she could ever be hopefully. I finish eating and I sit at the table and look outside the window where I got a view of my the nearby camps.

I see a fire coming what seems the camp I made for the others. I feel my stomach turn, I start to feel sick. The thought of my daughter dead fill my mind as I rush outside and I hear footsteps coming behind me as I continue to run to the Angel Of Death.

I go back into the cabin and get my leather jacket. I'm scared to death, if I lose my children I don't know what I'd do, maybe I'll go on a rampage. "Lexa stay here, I don't know what I'd do if I lose you" I say sadly, I was about to leave but I go and kiss Lexa before I leave just incase I die.

I get into the car and I hear the engine roar as I started it. I have my pistol on my left hip just incase I need it, I drive down the big hill and I put the pedal to the floor. The speed was thrilling, the thrill was getting me prepared to fight.

I stop at the gate of the camp, and I see TriKru warriors attacking the camp. I stand still into the middle of the road and I started to feel enraged because of the broken alliance. I drive through the camp's broken entrance and I don't see any of my people's bodies anywhere. That. That gives me hope that they're alive.
