Chapter 19

Raven's POV

June, 20, 2151.
Eleven months after Lexa's death...

I get up nice and early, it's currently 5:49 am and it's my day off. So maybe I so go to the gym here?

Eh, screw it I'm going. I get my gym clothing and I take the stairs up down to level 5 and I'm on 3 so it'll only take not even a minute if I go fast.

I go through the gym doors and I see Derek working out hard. I can see the sweat on him and he's doing chin ups right now. 

  I put in my earbuds and stretch, after I finish up stretching I go to the weights and I pick up the 15 pound weight.

After the workout...

I drink my water and go to the changing rooms and put on my t-shirt and pants. I see Derek leaving and it's now 8:20 am so I'm probably gonna go and eat some breakfast.

The war isn't over so I'm getting told to make more bombs for the soldiers. I'm sick of making the bombs but I have to do it so we don't lose the war.

"Hey Raven!" Derek called out to me as I was about to turn the corner.

"Yes?" I reply loudly.

"Wanna have breakfast?" He politely asks.

"Sure. Bring Sarah and Alex if you want."

Wow, he just asked me to have breakfast with him surprisingly I actually accepted it. I wave to Derek and continue on to my apartment, or whatever it's called.

I unlock my door and throw my bag on to the floor and I quickly take off my clothes. After I take off my clothes I turn on the shower and I look for my shampoo. I wash my hair then my body, after showering quickly I dry myself.

I'm done everything and now it's time to meet him in the diner.

I enter the diner and I wave to Caitlyn the waitress, I see Derek with his two daughters. Alex and Sarah are already eating and Derek is just now being served.

His plain white t-shirt has no sleeves so it shows his tattoos on his forearm. A part of a tattoo is coming up toward his neck, I walk over toward him and I sit down and the waitress just finished taking his order.

The waitress asks what I want "I'll have the French toast with coffee, and I'll have two sugars in it."

"Alright I'll be back soon." The waitress said before she left me and Derek here.

I look at Alex and Sarah and they've gotten so much bigger. "Da" Alex said as she threw a price of egg on the floor.

"Yes?" Derek said back.

Then she points over toward the entrance and it's Octavia . She stood there looking at the four of us, Derek looked over toward there and seen her.

"Hey Raven can you watch them? Please?" Derek basically begged me to watch them he even done those puppy dog eyes.

"Sure, but next time don't do those puppy dog eyes again."

Derek's POV

I run after Octavia and I can hear her shoes echoing down the hallway, I run as fast as I can and I see a door open. I enter it and I see Octavia sitting down on her couch.

I slowly make my way toward her and I sit down next to her, "Clarke and the rest of them has found a way for all of us to survive the radiation, I'm sure Raven told you."

I lick my lips and I look at Octavia "No Octavia, I knew. I'm staying here on Earth...Not all of us can stay in this bunker, there's still another two hundred of us out there."

I continue to look into her eyes "I'm gonna kill two hundred of my mothers people so the rest of us can come in here."

A day before launch, Bellamy, Raven and the others are ready to leave and go back into space.

After I finished planning I wonder who I've become because I know I'm not the same anymore...

I load my pistol and I check the magazine before I leave to "talk" with my mother. I exit my room and my kids are with someone trusted which is Octavia, and now I'm going to do what's necessary.

I enter this enormous room with the best furniture in the bunker, my mother is sitting down.

"Son, I wasn't expecting you to visit me today. Anyway how are you right now?" I feel a wave of paranoia come over me. I quickly haul out my pistol from my holster and shoot the two guards instantly and then I point my gun at my mother.

"There isn't enough room for my people Jessica. You can order 200 people to leave or I WILL kill them." I said in a commanding tone. My face turned cold my emotions dropped everything died for a small period of time.

"You know I can't do that son, look at it like this. My people are better then yours so it's more reasonable if my people stay inside." When my mother said that I shoot her in between her eyes. The silencer on my pistol made it as quiet as possible.

I leave the room after I killed my own mother, I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to the rest of our people.

Time to do what I must in order for the rest of us from the Ark to survive the Death Wave that's coming...
