Chapter Twenty One - We'll Shoot Back Holy Water Part Seven

When we first started this battle, everyone was present. Now, now there were some of us missing. My head thought the worse, the vampires just kept coming and we were losing. Party and I stood together and kept fighting. Where was everyone?

Shattered, Horror, Wretched, Authority, and Jet were all missing. I was holding onto the hope that they were safe, just away from the fight. That somehow Unbroken got Shattered away from Aleck and that she was being watched by someone.

I tried thinking the best but my mind only wanted the worst case to happen. The worst case being the vampires have won, that they have killed all my family, I wouldn't go down without a fight and I wouldn't lose Party again.

Party held my hand tight, "Tiger now is the time. Change into the beautiful creature I know you are." I brushed some of his red hair away from his eyes and kissed him. "Go be fierce and save your family."

He backed away from me, I closed my eyes. I fell to my hands and knees, the tiger fur starting to flow over my body. Shifting and changing into the beast, my teeth became sharp. Soon I was a full blown tiger, piercing eyes.

Party came over and pet my head, making me purr. "Go, do what I know you love." I licked his hand and bolted off in such a high speed. My teeth pierced the throats of the vampires, ripping them apart. One by one the vamps numbers started to lower.

I don't know how or why but the hoard stopped coming, did they finally run out of vamps? It didn't matter, what mattered was to get to Aleck and kill him. No matter what, that bastard was going down. The smell of blood flowed through my nostrils, it was Shattered.

Using my senses I finally found her and Horror. They were both okay, my heart beat faster knowing I hadn't lost them. Horror looked up at me, "Tiger, we need to end this now. Shattered needs help, and there's something else." I tilted my head but before he could continue Deathwish's scream echoed in my ears.

Quickly I gave Shattered a few licks and ran off, Aleck had her by the throat. I glared at him, getting ready to pounce but watch as Phoenix attacks. After a few punches Aleck regained himself and started hitting Phoenix. I need to help him. I leaped in the air and bit Aleck but only on his leg.

He dropped Phoenix and grabbed me instead. Aleck was strong as started to squeeze me, I changed back to my human form and the pressure was unbearable. There was a slight snap and I screamed out in pain, Phoenix came back and got me loose. He shouted for Party to come get me away, I blacked out before he arrived.

I watched as my Tiger transformed into a tiger, she was majestic. After she ran off I went to do some killing myself. I saw Sparkling standing next to Dramatic, where was Deathwish? Ghoul and Harlequin were back to back spiking vampires left and right. Ghoul had a giant grin on his face, he was liking this too much.

Next I spotted Kobra, he was safe and fighting. I decided to go help him, brother and brother fighting back to back. His mind probably wasn't on the fight, I know he's been thinking about her.

He's loved her since the beginning, but never had the guys to tell her. Then Toxic came along, she basically asked him to be partners. Kobra couldn't tell her no, he was too nice of a guy. I guess after being together he just sort of fell in love with her.

When we got rescued and found out about the loss of Dr. D and Toxic we were all hurting. I could tell Kobra wasn't hurting as much as if he lost his true partner. He came to me asking for help, he felt horrible about not feeling the right way. We talked and talked, one of the few times I felt normal.

"Kobra, behind you!" I ran and staked the vampires heart. "Watch your back, remember?" He nodded and I hugged him. I couldn't spot Jet or Authority anywhere, Shattered, Wretched and Horror were all gone as well. What was happening?

I noticed Dramatic and Deathwish had disappeared too. Kobra looked around, seeing what I was concerned about. "They're dead?"

"No, they can't be. I refuse to believe we lost all of them. They're around here somewhere and once we get this hoard cleared up, we'll find them." It did seem like the vampires stopped coming, there were still a lot but at least the numbers were dropping.

My joy didn't last long when I heard my Tiger in pain, Aleck had her in a death grip. My name was called by Phoenix, "Kobra follow me!" We ran towards Tiger, Aleck had dropped her. Any vampires in our way got taken out quickly, no time to waste.

I slid on my knees to reach her, Kobra kept watch. "Tiger?" She still had a pulse but wasn't awake. What happened? "We need to get her out of here." With the help of Kobra, we carried back into the church. "Stay with her, I'm going back out there. This needs to end."

"I'm coming with you Party. We fight together, we ride together, Killjoys for life."

"Killjoys for life."
