I watched as the sun started to set and my eyes grew tired from looking at the same scenery other than stingrays mask.

We hadn't talked much and it was beginning to get a bit awkward actually.

I was starving.

And being in this stupid ass bathrobe was beginning to become awkward as hell.

"I'm hungry." I blurted to get his attention. His eyes shifted onto me, and he sighed heavily.
"Well we aren't there yet, so you'll just have to wait, now won't you?" He said as I rolled my eyes.

"How come it's taking so long to get there?" I asked.

"Because it's kind of hard to row this boat with the two of us in it. My arms are getting tired!" He snapped as I sighed sitting back crossing my arms.

"Oh come on, I thought you were the almighty lord stingray?" I asked smirking faintly as I flicked the 'tail' on his head.

He raised a brow to me slightly and made a crooked smile.
"Yeah, well, even I can get tired." He said awkwardly as I shrugged.

"Yeah true. Hey, I gotta question," I asked him.

"What is it." He asked a bit harshly.

"Why do you have that mask on all the time? Is it even a mask? Or what?" I asked as he suddenly stopped rowing.

"Can we please just stop talking? I'm trying to think, and you're annoying me by talking." He snapped as my eyes narrowed on him with a small glare.

"Well excuse me for trying to start a damn conversation! I thought it would be better and less awkward instead of just sitting here in a fucking awkward silence." I snapped back at him.
"Ugh just shut up." He hissed as he continued to row the boat.

I sighed and looked over the boat and rested my head lightly on my arms that rested on the side of the boat.
I traced my fingers on the water and felt the cold liquid at the tips of my fingers.

I glanced over at him and just watched him row the boat tiredly. I didn't know what else to look at. Everything else was boring.

Plus, he was just so . . Different, and I guess interesting? He was also a bit intriguing, to be honest.

But I didn't like him in that way of any sort.
I liked the warden, actually.

Even though people say otherwise . .

I still can't believe I ended up liking the warden . . I'm so stupid.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" His voice snapped me back into reality. He raised a brow with annoyance, waiting for an answer from me.
I blinked a few times realizing I had been staring at him while I was stuck pondering and daydreaming without intention.

"Oh uh sorry, I didn't mean to." I said half lying. I stared back down at the murky water and noticed how dark it had gotten.
I hate the dark. It was starting to freak me out being on the water in this dark of the night.

Oh, what I'd give to be on a wooden bed with a thin sheet over me as a blanket in a prison cell right now.

"I'm 'gonna make you start to row soon because I'm tired, and I don't want to be stuck in the middle of an ocean- pond, lake, whatever the hell this even is. It looks like a damn swamp." He said looking around narrowing his eyes a bit.
