I was in my cell, and I was already changed out of my dress and back into my uniform.

I was smoking a cigarette with Paul and blowing the smoke out of the barred up window.

"So you're going on a date with the warden now huh?" Paul asked smirking as I rolled my eyes.

"It's not a date," I said threw inhaling my cigarette.

"Oh? Then what is it?" He asked as I shrugged and blew out the smoke.

"I'm just showing him around the town, since he's never been." I said as he raised a brow.

"Oh really? He's letting you actually leave? And he's letting you bring him out of this jail? He must really like you." He said rolling his eyes smoking.

"Maybe. But I think I'm starting to like him too..." I mumbled blowing out the smoke lightly.

He spit his cigarette out of his mouth and stared at me wide eyed.

"What?! What happened to you saying he was annoying??" He asked as I shrugged a shoulder.

"I dunno. I found out that he's not so bad." I said with a small smile as he shook his head standing up.
"Whatever you say." He said. I finished up my cigarette then put it in the ashtray, and sprayed some of Paul's perfume on me.

"I might not be in here anymore either," I said chewing some peppermint gum with a grin.

"What? What do you mean??" He asked as Jean looked up from his magazine.

"He offered me to work for him. I'm not sure what I'd be doing yet, but it's better then being stuck in jail with no job and no future." I said as he raised a brow.

"No future?" He crossed his arms as my eyes widened, "No no no, that's not what I meant! You know what I mean," I frowned at him as he sat on the bed again.

"You know you're turning into a whole different person now that you're all buddy buddy with the warden." He said as I sighed pinching my nose.

"You know how I feel. I barely even believe I have a future; whether I'm in here or not. There's nothing out there for me. Maybe here there is. And I can see you guys every day!" I said.

"Yeah. I know," he said then saw me frown.

"Oh come here." He rolled his eyes sighing heavily, holding his arms open as I have him a hug.

"Go have fun." He said as I smiled. "Thanks." I said as he stopped me.
"Wait! Could you maybe get me and the guys some more cigarettes or, something a little stronger?" He asked winking as I sighed.

"I dunno I'll try." I said as he smiled.

"Thanks!" He said handing me money, which I didn't dare question. I ran out of the cell and walked to the wardens office.
