Chapter Twenty Two

I woke up and saw stingray sleeping next to me above the covers and laying on his side; his back facing towards me.

He was lightly snoring as I sat up quickly; a little bit shocked to see him still next to me.

I forgot all about him being there.

I was under the blankets as I yawned and fell back onto my back, I ran a hand through my silky hair.
I sighed heavily and looked up at my ceiling.

I decided to get up and take a shower.
After I was done, I changed into a pair of leggings with my security shirt and a pair of adidas.

"Hey, yo get up." I said loudly as I slipped on my shoe, stingray woke up and looked over at me.

"Where the hell are you going? And why am I still in your bed?" He asked as I rolled my eyes and used my towel to dry out my hair a bit more.

I hung the towel up and sighed.
"I don't know. Why are you asking me?" I asked him raising a brow as he made a crooked frown and sat up rubbing the back of his head.

"That was like sleeping in a bed of luxury." He said as I smiled a bit.

"Wow you must have had a shitty bed for a long time then, huh?" I asked with a small laugh.

"You have no idea." He rolled his eyes as I heard a knock on the door.

He glanced at me as I glanced to the door and ran up to it quickly as I saw Alice open the door for me.
She looked in my room and saw stingray sitting on the edge on the end of the bed.

"Hey gir- woah. Had some fun last night huh.. I knew something was going on between you two." She said as I blushed brightly.

"No! No no! Nothing happened between us last night actually! He was comforting me because the warden cheated on me." I crossed my arms and sighed heavily as Alices' facial expression changed to a surprised one.

"Seriously?! Oh man. Girl I'm so sorry. He's such a douche." She sighed.

"Yeah I know." I shrugged a shoulder.
"It'll be okay. I'm here for you." She told me giving me a small hug.

"Thanks.." I mumbled softly as she nodded.
"You want me to go?" She asked glancing at stingray as I nodded.

"Yeah gimme a few minuets." I said with a small smile.
"Okay. Your shift starts in twenty minuets. And the warden wants to see you in his office by the way, so good luck with that." She said walking out of the room as I shut the door and groaned.

"Eh maybe I should go-"

"No! No it's okay," I interrupted him as I crawled back onto the bed.
"Just stay here.. With me, for a bit." I frowned at him as he sighed heavily.
"Okay." He said rolling his eyes.

"You know you're going to have to talk to him." He looked at me as I shrugged.
"So what. It'll be fine.." I frowned a bit as I pulled my knees up to my chest and rested my arms on top of them.

"You want me to walk you down there?" He asked with a smirk.

"You know what? Actually I do." I smirked back at him.
"Seriously?" He asked as I nodded and grabbed his arm pulling him off of the bed, as I pulled him down the hall with me.
