The girl was cornered, outnumbered, and injured... there was nothing she could do, and no one who could save her. They closed in, trapping her, cursing at her, damaging her. The sky was dark and the moon almost red in her eyes, as red as the clouds covering their dark cloaks. Her lungs struggled to work as she panicked. Their faces shadowed and blank, grinning menacingly. The silhouette of a limp body hung over one of the guys' shoulders. She cried out at realizing who it was; Sakana. One pulled out a scythe and drove it through her, her screams echoed and pain exploded inside of her. Her blood on fire... everything in flames...

My eyes flew open and met with a pair of mismatched ones. My heart pounded in my chest and tremors shook my body every now and then. My eyes were blurry and shining with tears, and I struggled to keep my breathing under control.
"Are you all right?" Kakashi asked me quietly, soothingly.
I just pulled him into a hug as the tears slowly flowed out of my eyes. He hugged me close and comforted me, waiting until I was calm enough.
"A nightmare? What happened?" he asked softly.
I shook my head slightly, not wanting to think about it anymore, trying to push back the thoughts into the far corners of my mind.
He sighed and placed a hand on my head, "It's ok, you don't have to explain. I'll go make us some breakfast."
He got up off of the couch that we'd fallen asleep on the night before after reading late into the night. I wipe my tears away and calm myself down. Yamato passes by then, he's already dressed. His face is serious, and he doesn't answer my greeting, I guess he's lost in thought. He walks into the kitchen and I can hear him and Kakashi having a hushed conversation.
I get up then, and walk in. Their conversation immediately stops. I look at them funny, "Is everything alright?" I ask suspiciously.
"Fine, fine," Yamato says a little shiftily.
"I have to go train with the kids, can you watch Yoki today, Yamato? The Hokage asked me to do a bunch of things as well and I'm already running late," Kakashi says apologetically, and before Yamato can answer, Kakashi is gone. I click my tongue in annoyance.
Yamato turns to me, his expression angry, probably due to Kakashi's actions.
"I have important business with the Hokage, so could you stay in the house today?" he asks rubbing the bridge of his nose, stressed.
I frown, "But—“
"I'll have to get an anbu posted, and organize a bunch of—“
"I'm not staying here all day doing nothing!" I say annoyed, and exhasperated; I'd already been inprisoned in the apartment many times before that, and let me tell you, it's not fun.
He gives me a look, and I can't help but think there's some sort of pained feeling in his eyes, like he knows something I don't.
"Fine," he says quietly and tells me to get ready.
I quickly eat the food Kakashi made, get dressed, brush my teeth, and wash my face, then he transports us away.
We end up in the Hokage's office.
The Hokage looks up at us, and gives Yamato a questioning look at seeing me. He asks me to wait outside and I politely oblige.

Yamato's P.O.V.
I watch as Yoki walks out of the room, my mind racing at the thought of what she'll do when she finds out.
"You should not have brought her, I think it is to soon to test, we aren't sure she is the one in the rogue's memories," the Hokage says thoughtfully.
"I apologize Lord Hokage, Kakashi left and she refused to stay inside... and... I think she has a right to know," I state strongly, hoping not to be punished for my comment.
"Hm..." he continues to think, closing his eyes now, "…I suppose she will have to find out sooner or later," he decides, "Inform Inoichi to stop for now," he says to an anbu who immediately disappears.
He turns to me, "You can walk her over there now, make sure the area is secure and everything is under control," he sighs tiredly.
"Hai, Hokage sama," I say formally and bow, then walk out of the room.

Yoki P.O.V.
I turn my head as Yamato walks out and give him a questioning look, but his brows are furrowed in thought and he doesn't seem to see me, just mumbles, "Follow me," and begins walking.
I frown in suspicion, but follow obediently.
We walk silently for a while and come to a stop at a building I haven't seen before, he walks in, and out of the corner of my eyes I see flashes indicating anbu. Why are they here? What's going on?
He continues walking and greets people now and then. I glance into a room and see a bunch of scrolls, and in another room a mechanism that looks like a helmet with a bunch of tubes in it. Interrogation I come to a stop, not wanting to go any further.
Yamato looks back at me, "Don't worry, none of it's for you, I'm here on Hokage's orders, you're just tagging along because Kakashi was busy," he explains distractedly.
I nod and continue following him. He stops at a door and tells me to wait outside for a little bit, I'm curious now and still a bit suspicious. I tap my foot impatiently until about ten minutes later the door opens again for me to come in.
Once I enter the room, I find that there's a bunch of people standing around, some are anbu, and others were ninja just unhooking themselves from the machines with the tubes. There were a bunch of scrolls all around. The people parted to reveal a messy white haired girl. She was being unhooked from the machine as well, she'd been in the middle, I suppose the one being interrogated.
As they finished taking the helmet off, she lifted her head tiredly and I froze.
Her dark purple-blue eyes were blurred and unfocused, but as she looked at me her eyes widened.
Her hair wasn't white... but there's no mistaking it, those eyes... that face....
"Sakana...."
