Chapter 19

About two months had passed since Sakana arrived, Kakashi and Yamato have both been busy with their separate duties, moreso since the chunin exams are coming soon. Since they've been out of the house often, we've been forced to spend our days within the confines of the stuffy apartment. 

Our boredom has led to a multitude of bad occurrences..... 

One time Yamato walked into the kitchen while we'd been trying to make milkshakes and smoothies.... let's just say the kitchen [walls] smelled of strawberries for a couple of weeks. (Sorry not sorry)

Another time Sakana had been showing me her water jutsu improvements, just down to scale since we were inside. Outside a cat or some animal knocked something over and she lost her concentration, and now there's a large hole in the living room wall. Hahaaa....

We'd also taken an interest in pranks, since there truly was nothing to do other than scheme...

We had an entire list of pranks, some we'd already gone through with, such as toothpaste cookies, where instead of jelly filling, it was toothpaste. That earned us both chunks of spit out cookie and paste in our faces from both of the guys. But, it was still worth it; the looks on their faces were priceless.

Later, Sakana helped me tamper with Kakashi's shampoo, and I convinced Sakura to bring me temporary hair dye...we turned his silver hair a bright neon pink.... That earned a bout of pouting and yelling... who new a guy could care so much about his hair? After I'd apologized (of course once I'd gotten my laughter out), I'd helped him get his hair all cleaned out in the tub; while he sat and relaxed I labored away at getting his hair back to normal. It was my punishment, I suppose, and along with being tiring, it was extremely embarassing washing his hair while he sat naked in bubbly tub water. 

Another time we unplugged the TV, so that when Yamato's favorite crime show came on, he got really upset and grumpy, until of course Sakana ruined it by plugging the TV back in and apologizing. 

Oh, speaking of those two, they'd been getting along a lot better, but from what I've noticed, nothing big has happened... sure they're a little more touchy feely than friends, but they're not up to boyfriend-girlfriend yet. I'd come up with an especially complicated plan for that though...

I awoke in the morning on the floor, a blanket tossed to the side, probably due to me kicking it away in my sleep. Sakana was still out cold next to me. 

I sighed and got up to get some water, since I had that morning dry-throat-bad-breath thing going on. I walked in and found Kakashi already sitting and drinking coffee. I barely acknowledged him, as I was still half asleep. I sat down at the kitchen table once I got my water, and yawned. 

He chuckled, and I mock glared at him as I sipped my water. 

"So, Yamato and I have got a surprise for you today," he said nonchalantly, still reading another one of those weird perverted books. 

My eyes widened, and I immediately was completely awake, "Ooooo... what is it?!?!" I asked curiously. 

He smiled wider underneath his mask, "Well it wouldn't be a surprise of I told you," he grinned teasingly. 

I pouted, but dropped it, knowing that when I found out later it'd be more fun to have it be a full surprise. 

Yamato walked into the room, still wearing just his boxers, as he'd probably assumed I'd still be asleep. I looked away awkwardly, uncomfortable. 

Yamato still didn't look completely awake as he began to pour himself some coffee, not even noticing that we were both there. 

Kakashi glanced up from his book, looked at my uncomfortable expression as I stared at the wall, then finally looked to Yamato who still stood tiredly against the counter preparing his coffee. Kakashi sighed and got up, "Yamato put some clothes on," he said scoldingly, slapping the back of his head, a bit harder than needed.
