Sakana and I sat on the couch, the bottoms of our feet pressed against each other as we wrestled to get more space. After I finally dropped the conversation about Yamato, we'd gotten extremely bored, and had decided to watch a movie. But, as we sat down, I wanted to lay down, and Sakana did as well. Soooo, it ended in us deciding to have a game to see who was allowed to lay down.

Whoever managed to push the others' feet away past a certain point, wins. The only problem: we were basically evenly matched. We've been at it for almost an hour now, our legs only just beginning to shake from the force we were pressing against our feet.

Suddenly, the door opened loudly and I yelped and fell to the floor.

"Ha! I win!" Sakana yelled loudly.

I got up and rubbed my butt, "Owww," I pouted, then stomped my foot, "That's not fair!" I whined.

"It so was," she said in reply, cockily crossing her arms and sprawling across the couch.

"Nuh uh," I replied childlishly.

"Yuh huh"

"Nuh uh"

"Yup"

"No"

"Yes"

"Nope"

*cough* *cough* We both turned to see Kakashi standing in the doorway. I blushed and then jumped over the couch, purposely flicking Sakana on the nose as I hopped.

"Hi Kakashi!" I said excitedly.

"Um... hello," he said awkwardly.

I grinned stupidly, and reddened, thinking about the childish position he caught me in.

"Oh, this is Sakana... Sakana, this is Kakashi," I said, gesturing as I introduced them.

"Oh so this is Kakashi," she said devilishly.

I narrowed my eyes at her, "I'll tell about Yamato!" I shouted.

She gasped, "You wouldn't."

"Oh... but I would," I replied with a smirk.

She pouted, then crossed her arms, "You're no fun," she stated, then finally turned on the TV.

Kakashi looked lost when I turned back to him, "By the way thanks," I whispered into his ear as I stood on my tippy toes.

He blushed, "For what?"

I took his hand and led him to the kitchen. "For leaving me with Yamato, with out him... and you," I added at the ever so slightly wary look in his eye when I mentioned Yamato, "I wouldn't have found Sakana," I explained.

He seemed to contemplate something, "Who is Sakana to you anyways... all Yamato told me was that you guys new each other and were close," he asked curiously.

"She's like my sister," I replied, "Really the only family I have I guess, though we aren't related by blood."

"How'd you guys get so close?" He asked, leaning against the kitchen counter with his hands in his pockets.

I looked away as he asked that question, then stood on my tippy toes to get to some chips in the cupboard.

"A story for another time maybe," I replied quietly.

I looked back as he nodded with understanding, causing me to grin.

"You're so sweet," I whispered under my breath, then leaned up, quickly pecking him on the lips through his mask.

He froze a little and I could see a blush creeping up on his cheeks.

I pulled him into a hug, "Thank you," I repeated.

He slowly wrapped his arms around me, "You don't have to keep thanking me, I didn't really do anything," he said quietly.

"Oh shush," I answered, squeezing tighter for a moment before pulling away and sticking a chip into my mouth.

I began to walk out of the kitchen, "You want to watch a movie with Sakana and I? It'll give you guys time to bond," I told him.

"... Yeah, sure," he answered slighlty uneasy.

"Don't worry, she doesn't bite," I giggled.

"Not unless you want me to," she appeared out of nowhere and winked.

He stared in confusion at her, "Stop trying to flirt with my boyfriend," I answered, flicking her nose again, beginning to get annoyed with her antics now that dragged Kakashi into the mix.

Her eyes widened, "Oh, I didn't know you guys were together... sorry," she apologized, shifting her eyes between us.

Kakashi was still blushing from when I said "boyfriend", "It's no big deal," he replied.

I narrowed my eyes at him, then turned back to Sakana, "I thought you liked Yamato anyways," I whispered to her.

Her face turned beet red, "Shut up Yokiii," she whined, then ran back to the living room, and onto the couch.

"Strange," Kakashi stated simply.

I laughed at his statement, "Trust me, that's only the beginning," I told him as I slowly followed Sakana into the living room.

Since Sakana was taking up the entire couch, Kakashi and I sat on the floor in front of it. I put the chips on the living room table and Sakana started the movie.

We were watching some sort of romantic comedy, I hadn't really payed attention to the title because Kakashi had interlaced his fingers with mine, and I was to focused on not blushing to really pay attention.

About a half hour into the movie, Sakana shifted positions so that she was upside down on the couch. I payed little attention to it. During the classic confession part of the film I leaned on Kakashi's arm and sighed contently.

"Awww, you guys are so cute," Sakana stated right next to my ear, causing my to jump.

"You're such an ass," I whispered to her, and she smiled sweetly in reply.

The door suddenly opened for the second time today, this time Sakana fell off the couch in surprise.

"Ha!" I yelled out, then hopped onto the couch before she could recover. I tugged on Kakashi's shirt indicating for him to sit next to me, and he sighed as he stood and plopped down beside me.

I heard footsteps coming down the hall, "I brought barbecue!" Yamato's voice rang out.

I made eye contact with Sakana as she finally sat up, and winked teasingly.

She was already blushing and she stuck her tongue out in return, then stood.

A few seconds later, a chorus of our (Sakana and my) voices rang out,

"Finally, fooood!!!"
