Chapter 29

Isabellas POV
Days later

I'm at my dads funeral. I'm bawling my eyes out the whole time. They asked me to make a speech but I couldn't. It hurt me to much to think about. After the funeral I went home and cried. I've been missing a lot of school but my mom doesn't care. She doesn't care about me. Her abusive husband isn't any better. I hear them yell and throw stuff every night. I just want to stay with my dad. I want everything to be how it was before.

Few days later

I decided to go to school today because I haven't gone in like almost 2 weeks. I went down to breakfast and my mom had bruises and cuts on her arm.

"What happened to your arm?" I asked.

"Doesn't matter. Oh and you're walking to school I don't feel like bringing you today." I sighed. Good thing that my moms house is only a few blocks away. My way to school was fine. When I got to school was the problem. Everyone one was giving me dirty looks. Even Amber. Finally lunch, it's not like I have any friends to sit with. I was eating my sandwich when I heard the people talk about the Dolan twins. They are getting pretty big on vine and their YouTube is doing pretty good. They were talking about how hot they are and stuff. I just laughed to myself because jokes on them I'm dating one of them. I got home and ignored all human interaction. I went to my room where daisy was. I got to keep daisy. She's the only thing that makes me happy in that house. I heard my mom and her husband Pat screaming downstairs. I heard glass shatter. I got concerned so I went downstairs. My mom was on the floor with blood on her face. I ran up to her and got next to her. If she doesn't care about me I still care about her, she's my mother.

"Oh my god mom. Are you ok." I asked grabbing a towel so she can wipe the blood.

"Does it look like I'm ok just go back up stairs this isn't any of your business." She shooed me off. I went back upstairs and called Ethan. I told him everything that's been going on. He told me that once he turns 15 he's moving to la.

"Thats where all the magic happens." He said smiling.

"Yea well I'm going with you no matter what."

"Have you ever thought of starting a YouTube channel."

"Umm no I don't know what do on it."

"We'll figure that out later." He winked and we said our goodbyes. I wasn't in the mood for dinner, so I just cried myself to sleep. I've been crying myself to sleep for the past few weeks. Am I getting depressed? I won't be surprised if I am. The only person that cares about me and loves me is Ethan. I can't wait till he turns 15 so we can leave this place. I took I little nap. I woke up to the noise of police sirens. I went downstairs to check what it was. Pat was in handcuffs and my mom was with a cop getting asked questions. I quickly ran back upstairs so no one can see me. I then heard a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said. Kira then walked in the door. "Kira?" I was so surprised. She was in a cop outfit.

"Oh yea I forgot to tell you, I'm training to become a cop." She smiled.

"Oh that's cool."

"Yea but I'm gonna stay with you here until they clear stuff up with your mom and pat." She sat on a chair at my desk. I just sighed. She saw that I was upset, so she started playing movies. She knows me too well.
