    Sabine's POV

I was playing with Astrid while Ezra was getting some more baby food in town. We would stack blocks then roll a ball to knock them over.

"Good job!" I cheered as she knocked down the block tower. The door opened and Astrid crawled to the door quickly. I followed and saw Ezra removing his shoes.

"Hey honey." He greeted and picked Astrid up.

"Da!" Astrid squealed. Me and Ezra's smiles grew at hearing her first words.

"Good job, Astrid!" Ezra complimented.

"Da!" Astrid laughed. I noticed a large box that was in the living room.

"What's that?" I asked.

"I'll show you." Ezra said and used the force to remove the box.

"A baby walker?" I asked.

"So Astrid can learn how to walk." Ezra said.

"Okay but, while you build that Miss Thing needs a bath." I said grabbing Astrid.

"Okay fine." And Ezra laughed then started to work on the walker.

       Ezra's POV

I started to work on the walker
so Astrid could run around the house easy. It took me an hour but I got it done. Sabine came in with Astrid, after Astrid had bathed Sabs put her down for a nap.

"Okay, it's done." I said proudly.

"Good job hun." Sabine congratulated me then gave me a kiss on the cheek. She set Astrid in the walker then walked to the kitchen to start dinner.

"Da!" Astrid squealed. I walked across the room and kneeled down.

"Come here." I said. She started to move around her arms and legs I could sense how frustrated she was becoming. She was doing her best but is wasn't enough for her to get moving. She started to cry in frustration so I walked over to her. I lowered the seat on the walker and stood beside her.

"One step at a time." I told my daughter as I walked beside her. I was a little ahead of her but she worked to keep at my pace. The look in her blue eyes told you how concentrated she was on the tasks at hand. Before I knew it we were at the end of the room.

"Good job, Astrid!" I cheered. Astrid had the cheekiest grin on her face. Sabine walked next to me then kneeled down.

"Mama!" Astrid squealed. Me and Sabine's smiles grew as Astrid learned how say new words.

Time skip to five weeks later.

Me and Sabine were sitting on the ground as Astrid played. Her rubber ball rolled across the room but before I could grab it Astrid used the couch to stand up and work her way over to the ball.

"Good job, Astrid!" Me and Sabine cheered her on. Astrid grabbed the ball and tossed it back to us. She ran back to us, but fell down.

"That was so good." I encouraged. She crawled over to us quickly. She was growing so fast, I wish she would stay little.
