  Ezra's POV

Me and Sabine had gotten Astrid settled in and she seemed happy with her new life. The thing that wasn't sorted out was that me and Sabine had work which meant Astrid had to come along until she could go to school. Let's just say Astrid wasn't a morning person. I got her dressed while Sabine got in her uniform.

"Come on Astrid." I begged. She did some light cooing while crawling away. "Astrid come on baby girl." I begged. She crawled in to the kitchen as fast as she could. I got up and followed her. Sabine had made her way to the kitchen by now and met Astrid there.

"Good morning baby." Sabine cooed and picked up Astrid. "Good morning to you too, Ezra." Sabine smiled.

"Morning." I said. We headed out the door with Astrid in hand. We made it to work and smuggled Astrid to our office.

"That was close." Sabine pointed out.

"I know." I sighed. Astrid must have known to be silent because she hadn't made a single peep.

"You better get going. I've got Astrid." She told me.

"Okay." I sighed. I gave Sabine a kiss on the lips then kissed Astrid on the forehead. "Bye girls." I said then walked away.

      Astrid's POV

Dada left so it was just me and mama she sat me on the ground and sat at big food table. I crawled over to her and reached up.

"Baby, you can't come up here." Mama said. She grabbed a blanket and toys then set them across the room. I crawled over to the blanket carefully.

Sabine's POV

I watched as Astrid crawled to the play mat to play. She seemed cautious at first, but then went all for it. I was doing paperwork then I got an email from an unknown source. I clicked on it and a letter popped up from anonymous.

    Dear Sabine and Ezra Bridger,

I would like to thank you for adopting that no good, and trouble some baby twi'lek. She really was a burden that I had to bare. I hope she's not to much trouble, if she is do what I did and put her in an alleyway. Some unfortunate soul will stumble upon her and make the mistake of adopting her only for the cycle to repeat.

                               Anonymous

This letter made me so mad. Astrid was just a baby. If they thought she was a burden they should have know what being parents meant. I looked at Astrid and she looked at me. I stood up and kneeled beside her.

"Oh, Astrid. I promise you will grow up to be a smart and beautiful young woman. I promise." I promised the baby in front of my. She smiled and reached up for me. I picked her up and held her close to my chest. "I love you, Astrid." I whispered.

"I love both of you." I voice in the door said. We both flinched and looked over. Ezra was walking over to us. Astrid squealed, then basically jumped out of my arms and crawled as fast as she could to Ezra. I walked over to my holo and deleted the email.

"Let's head home." I said as we left the office.
