Sabine's POVI sat in me and Ezra's office doing paperwork. He wasn't in here much so I did my work in here with him. He was training with his master and would return soon.
"Bills for our speeders, rent for our apartment, medical bill." I said going through our mail. The reason we had a medical bill that was larger was Ezra got hurt on a mission. I heard the door open, but paid no mind to it. I continued to work on files and work until I felt warm breath in my neck.
"Ezra how was training?" I asked, putting the papers in the file cabinet.
"Well same as last week." Ezra answered. I simply hummed in response. I finished locking up then we walked to our speeder. It was a quick ride home, we got in and changed out of our uniforms. I started to make spaghetti for dinner while Ezra did his paperwork.
"Ez! Foods done!" I shouted. He walked in and we sat at the table and ate in silence until he broke it.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said.
"I can sense it." He smirked. I couldn't help but chuckle a little.
"I've been thinking about..." I started. He looked at me sweetly.
"About?" He pushed lightly.
"The future, our future."
"What about it."
"Well I... I kinda want to us to have a family." I whispered not knowing how he would take it. He set his fork down and walked to me. I stood up and looked at him. He enveloped me in a warm hug that I could only lean into.
"I want one too. But, do you know what the Empire would do if they found out you were pregnant?" He pointed out. I sighed as we separated from the hug.
"I know but, I can't help but wonder. If we could have a child, one that the Empire would approve of." I said
"I love you, Sabs." He whispered.
"I love you too, Ez." I whispered back. We cleaned the kitchen and sat down on the couch, I turned on the holo and snuggled close to my husband.
"A band of rebels have destroyed another Imperial Tie-fighter Factory-." The news reporter stated before Ezra switched to the next channel. While he was flipping through TV I grabbed a catalog that came in the mail. I saw baby supplies, clothes, furniture nothing really caught my eye.
"I'm gonna go get ready for bed." I told Ezra.
"Okay I'll be there in a second." Ezra responded. I went to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. I got out of the shower and dried off, I wrapped a towel around my body but, I noticed a scratch on my shoulder. I got in shorts and a tank top as I left the bathroom Ezra went in. I curled up in bed and about fifteen minutes later I felt Ezra get in bed. He slipped his arms around me and nuzzled my neck.
"I love you, Ezra." I whispered.
"I love you too, Sabine." Ezra whispered. I felt him rub my shoulder. "What happened here?" He asked.
"Not sure. I noticed it after I showered." I said, rolling to face him with our noses touching.
"What are we doing tomorrow?" He asked.
"I think we have mission in Capital City." I said while turning off my lamp.
"I hate work." He groaned.
"I know. But, try and find positives. Do it, for me." I begged.
"Okay." He said then kissed me lightly. "Night." He added.
"Night." I responded then fell asleep.
