      Astrid's POV

  Me and a lot of other kids were at the bottom of "the pit". Zac and I were sticking together the best we could. We had already made a few enemies. But as the star cadets that's expected. Owen and Lola  were own rivals, Thrawn seemed to love our conflict, he claims we thrive off it. Mom and Dad have been watching too, which is kinda comforting.

"Start now!" Thrawn commanded. We all started racing to the top. Me and Zac met back up about half way up.

"You good?" Zac panted out.

"Yeah. You?" I asked back as we took off again.

"Never better." Zac answered.

"Good!" I called back.  We were so close to the top and as I went to jump to the surface I was pushed to the very bottom of "the well".

"ASTRID!" I heard Zac, mom and Dad yell with worry and I blacked out.

      Zac' POV

  I was already at the top but I started back down as fast as I could. When I got to her the bottom started to come back to the surface.

"Astrid, hey wake up." I told her. She wouldn't respond. I removed her helmet that was modified to fit her leku. She was unconscious.

"Astrid, oh my force!" I heard Sabine say worried. I moved to the side to let Sabine and Ezra see her.

"Is she gonna be okay?" I asked worried.

"Yeah, she should be." Ezra said.

"We should get her home." Sabine told us. We nodded and Sabine went to talk to Thrawn. Ezra picked her up and I followed Ezra out of the academy. I hopped in the back of the speeder and buckled up.

"Can you hold her until we get back to the house?" Ezra asked.

"Yeah." I answered. Sabine came out and got in the front seat. The entire way back I held Astrid close to my chest in a protective manner. I had gotten really close with Astrid's parents because we have been friends for years. I hear that most kids are awkward are their friends parents because it's just kind of an uncomfortable position to be in.

Although I didn't plan on telling her anytime soon or maybe not ever, I had a huge crush on her. No one knew, heck I barely knew. The beautiful twi'lek girl in my arms I had fallen in love with.

     Ezra's POV

  Zac liked Astrid.

Astrid liked Zac.

Sabine ships "Zastrid".

Astrid is my baby girl.

Even though they both tried to hide it, I could see right through them. I see the way Zac looks at her with so much love and admiration. I also, see how Astrid looks at him with attraction and love. They are so comfortable with each other and even sleep in the same bed when they stay the night at each other's house, but are so shy around each other.

I looked in the back seat to see Zac had fallen asleep with his arms securely around Astrid

"Zastrid." Sabine squeaked while smiling like a child on Christmas Day.
