"Louis?" I asked, completely taken aback by her answer. "As in.... Tomlinson?"

She nodded slowly, raising her small eyebrow at me, which was surprisingly well groomed for being stuck with a gang. "Why?"

"I've heard of him before," I said quietly, trying to cover for my mistake of almost letting out my identity.

"Oh," She said. "Anyways, what is your story?"

My Story? I thought. No one knows the real one.

"I don't really have one," I lied.

"Everyone does," Mia said, putting her small hands on her thighs. "You can't not have a story... tell me, how did you become who you are today-"

"Mia," I interrupted. I knew that the dinner hour must be getting low, and then we would be torn apart. I needed to know the answers to my endless questions. "Louis..... where is he, now?"

"I don't know," She whispered. "Maybe at his home... I don't know where his parents are, or where his sister lived, but.... All I know is that they are all here in New York City."

I nodded. "Okay."

"Why, Katy?" She asked.

I almost forgot that I told her a different name. "I'm just a curious soul."

"Then you'd better be careful here," She said quietly. "Having a curious soul can get you killed."

"Aye, Maxx, pass the Vodka." The big, burly man who took Carmen away asked me from down the table. I nodded, trying not to look as taken aback as I was. I felt like a deer in headlights here at this dinner table.

I passed the Vodka bottle down the table, to the man. I felt dizzy; trying to be like these guys meant drinking like these guys. In other words, I'm going to have one killer hangover tomorrow. I just hope that I don't do anything stupid while in this state.

"So where'd you get your girl?" Some guy said. I looked up, to see a few guys looking me in the eye.

My breath hitched, trying to remember the plan. "Got 'er at the easiest place," I said. "The club. Tricked her into thinking I was gonna 'hang out' with her," I chuckled to give my act more of an affect. "Led 'er here."

"Nice." A guy said, stuffing food down his throat.

"Well, I'm gonna go get my girl and go to my room," A guy across from me, covered in tattoos, replied. "Maxx, wanna come? Heard our girls are dinner mates."

I was confused, but I got up and followed him. As we walked down the hall, I noticed he had his ears pierced, and snake bites on his face. He led us to a door near mine, and I heard quiet voices inside.

"Let's go!" He bellowed, flinging open the door, scaring the two girls inside. One girl I immediately noticed was Carmen. I looked her in the face, nodding behind the guy in front of me.

The other girl looked like a deer in headlights, and didn't move. "GET UP, BITCH!" He bellowed even louder, walking toward her, his face beginning to red with anger. He grabbed her arm and pulled her to a standing position, and I could see her skin becoming red under his fingers. She didn't move any further; she was scared to death.

The man pulled back his hand, and slapped the cheek of the girl. She gasped, and when she pulled her head back, her cheek was red. "Let's go." He said quietly, pulling her out of the room. "Aren't you going to get punished tonight!" I heard him scream in the hallway.

I didn't know what sort of "punished" he was talking about.

I rushed in to Carmen, who's hands were shaking just slightly. You can tell she was trying to hide it. "Let's go," I said quietly. I lightly put my hand on her arm, in case anyone saw us.

I led her back to the room, looking the door and sitting on the bed.

"So," She said, trying to be calm, her voice wavering a bit. "I found something."

My heart lept to my throat. "What?"

"I know who Louis is."

"Who?" I said, grateful for some type of discovery, even if it helped a little.

"The other girl in there, Mia, said she used to have a roommate." She whispered. "But... she was killed. And she was his sister. She said, 'You should have seen how angry her brother was," and when I asked who he was, she said Louis Tomlinson. Now  if we knew what gang Zayn is in, we would have a reason to as why Louis was involved with Zayn's capture."

I rubbed my face with one hand. "Wow," I said.

"Not really." She said, and I looked back to her. "As I said, we don't know what gang Zayn is in."

"Wait," I said, it finally hitting me. "What if the girl, Louis's sister, was 'owned' by Zayn? What if he is in this gang?"

"He can't be," She said. "Nina said that Niall used to mention things like 'He's in the Periculum, isn't he?'"

I nodded. "Maybe it's just unconnected," I sighed. "And she just happened to be his sister. And he wanted revenge; he didn't care what gang, but revenge on a man that did that to another woman."

"Maybe," She said. "We need to find them."

"Who?"

"Mia mentioned that the girl- her name was Bea, by the way- was his only sibling. But his parents are probably here in the city, as Mia said, unless they had moved since Bea's death."

I nodded as Carmen looked to the floor, her eyebrows scrunching together in thought.

"Before we find them," I said. "We need to get out of here."

Carmen nodded. "Yeah.... before we get ourselves killed."

A/N

Happy Valentine's Day! Sorry, it's sort of a filler and review of the case, but hey! A little closer to finding Louis.

Question for ya:

Which gang do you think Zayn is in?

The Periculum, as Niall said?

OR

MS13, the gang they were caught by, in which Zayn might have been the 'owner' of Louis's sister?
