Carmen
My heart was pounding in my ears; I felt as if it might burst. I could only hear my heart yet only hear the screams, the struggles, the violence and the fighting all at the same time.
I felt that this might be my last fight.
Even with this fear fresh in my mind, I swallowed and kept pushing forward. I need to get out; I to find Niall, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and the mysterious second identity. But right now, my only priority was actually getting Ashton and I out of here; alive.
If it was even possible.
Ash and Jen, the two captives who joined me, were walking steadily behind me. I could hear their shallow breathing, no matter how much they hid it. We walked through the hallway, avoiding debris on the floor.
Who knew a stupid gang would fuss this much over a girl. Well, they are men. They tend to tend a tiny disagreement into the biggest of fights, involving issues that aren't even closely related to the original topic of the problem.
I scoffed lightly at my own thoughts, but snapped my mouth shut. I heard voices, nearby. Male voices.
Jen and Ash heard them too, and we flattened against the nearest wall simultaneously. We can't be caught, not now.
"Yer such an ass!" A low, rumbly voice said.
The other man who's voice we heard previously didn't answer. All we heard was flesh against flesh; the sound of violence and someone's bone cracking.
Jen, who was right behind me, gasped lightly. When I turned back to look at her, she was biting her lip with her eyes screwed shut.
We heard the fight continue, hearing grunts, groans, yells, and pretty much every sound that has ever been uttered during a physical fight. Soon, the entire sound ceased. There was.... nothing.
"Don't," Ash said, sensing my curiosity. "It might be a trick; what if they know we're here?"
I hesitated and took a deep breath. "I'm going to have to take the risk. You don't have to, but I am."
Ash set her jaw and nodded, and Jen finally opened her eyes. "What are we going to do?"
What are we going to do? I thought. I have no idea.
"For now, our main job..." I trailed off, thinking. I looked around the area I could see, and recognized something. One of the final parts of the plan. It wasn't much. It wasn't a person, or a place.
It was simply a thought.
Ashton was most likely roped into fighting with the other men.
I gasped in happiness, turning to the other girls. "Follow me," I whispered. "Be ready to protect yourself."
The nodded hesitantly and followed me as we walked right into hell.

There was a lot of blood as we walked stealthily through the large room. Men continued to throttle eachother, pounding the other until they were nothing but pulp.
I'm sure I've seen at least five dead men already; if not more.
And I've taken a mere ten steps in.
Yet I continued to push forward, continued to put all three of us into the line of danger.
I looked around for a familiar face, but couldn't see one. No Ashton.
But I did see a group of maybe five girls in the center, and one turned to look over this direction.
Mia.
I gasped as she and the others were pushed down a hallway, where I heard screams in the distance. She can't be dead; we need her. We need her knowledge! We need to at least keep her alive!
But we don't even know if we can keep ourselves alive.
I jogged forward a little, crouching behind a couch with Jen and Ash. I did not dare to breathe as men ran past. We got up, pushing forward, into the chaos, occasionally hiding.
Ash gasped from behind me, shouting "LOOK!" I looked up from what I was focused on. But before I could even focus on the man, I was nearly knocked over by his force. My heart stopped, but calmed when that person wrapped their arms around me quickly.
"Oh my goodness, Carmen!" Ashton breathed, looking at me, earning gaping stares from Ash and Jen. "i thought you might've been dead!"
"I thought the same for you," I breathed. I turned around as he walked forward, hand on my wrist, Jen and Ash following looking dazed. I felt a little safer, a little more sure of our survival; even though this man annoys the shit out of me sometimes, before this incident.
Ashton looked at me wide-eyed, and ran. I ran after him, my throat burning and Jen and Ash hot on my heels. We turned around a corner, and I found myself in the hallway where we were imprisoned. Ashton darted inside, and the women inside screamed.
"Don't kill us!"
"We don't belong here!"
"We apologize for whatever we did!"
Ashton didn't reply as he searched the closet, looking for his jacket. I suddenly remembered that I had it on; I took it off my shoulders and tossed it to him.
"Nice to let me know you had this," he scoffed, slamming the closet door.
"I've been busy."
He didn't reply as we darted out of the room, opening every door that wasn't padlocked. All the ones that were unlocked were empty; we couldn't let anymore woman free.
"WAIT!" I screamed, my lungs burning. "We need Mia!"
"Mia?" Ashton panted.
"Yes! The one..... who knew!" I breathed, struggling to get the oxygen I needed.
Ashton nodded and stood, running down the next hallway. It seemed familiar to the one where... Mia was led.
Ashton saw it all, and he led us like a general leading his army into battle. It was the first time that I didn't see fear in his eyes.
But, the fear came flooding back into all of us as we stopped dead in our tracks.
In the middle of that hallway were two men, with large guns pointing directly at our chests.

Im sorry this was uneventful and I honestly am waiting for this gang part to get over xD
But I hope you are enjoying it; THE FINALE WILL BE HEART-STOPPING OMG
like if you found me on Wattpad and read my 'Survivor' two book series, you would know I tend to cast the most unthinkable people as the bad guy. Ones you never expected *wiggles eyebrows*
I also have a new story coming with an undecided title that takes place in a highschool.... should I start writing it with this one? Comment what you think.
