Kairi sat in her room sniffing to herself and gently wiping another stray teardrop. Mello didn't love her. It was official.
A loud knocking at the door alerted her that someone was there, and they might've been listening. Wiping her tears from her eyes, she opened the door shakily to reveal a figure dressed all in leather.
"Mello...." she whispered panicking. What was he doing here?
"Kairi I need to tell you something." said Mello, barging into the room. Yep typical Mello.
"Come on in Mello...." she sighed sarcastically to herself.
He sat gently on her bed and she sat next to him; a little further away than she normally would've.
"Kairi I need to ask you a serious question." Mello looked anxious. Wait. The fearless Mello anxious? Wow....
Kairi nodded at him.
"Do you trust me?"
Her eyes met his, and she nodded again.
"Kairi this isn't easy to say but.... I-I-I love you." he said, gulping and looking away.
"I love you too..."
"What?" Mello gasped.
"I love you Mello." she smiled at him.
They held hands blushing, smiling at the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
