~Beau's P.O.V~

"Okay. It's now or never. I can do it." I tell myself but I don't believe it. I sent Jai and Luke to send her up here, she should be here any minute now. But I need a little more time. My palms are sweaty as fuck and I have no idea what to say. I'm not following through with Jai's sappy shit about how much I love her and forcing myself onto one knee. No, I want this to be authentic, original even. I don't want to have to say it, I need to show her exactly how much she means to me.

"Hey." Ellie says and turn around to see her standing in the doorway. God she's beautiful.

"Hey, so how do you like my mother?"

"She's lovley. I can tell where you get your charm from."

"Yeah well she did give birth to me." I laugh nervously, she does too but I'm sure she's just laughing at me.

She sits on the bed beside me and takes my hand. Okay, this is it. No more stalling, I'm asking her now.

"Baby I- Listen, I'm sure that my family has already informed you on what a shitty person I was a few weeks ago. I wouldn't talk, I'd drink none stop and hurt the people that I loved. Just like my father did. I know it's no excuse but that's what I'd lived with for nearly the first ten years of my life. So you'd expect me to be a fuck up just like him, right? When he got bored and left us I was so angry, so lost for years. But I massively digress, anyway, that all came to a halt when you came. I had been trying for years to restore myself but nothing worked. Nothing except you. And that Ellie, that's not just something that I'll be able to overlook. I need you, not just physically but mentally. I need you in every way possible and I can't hold back anymore. Say you'll be mine Ellie. Say you'll be my girlfriend?" I breath. The words tumble out too quickly and now I'm scared about if it was enough to make her see.

Her eyes light up but the emotion in them is hard to read. She frowns and shakes her head. What? No, she can't say no I need her!

"No?" I ask and she nods. "But why? Ellie, I need you." I squeak. My chest feels as though someone's sitting on it. Suffocating me with heartbreak.

"Just kidding!" She squeals and jumps on me, literally straddling my lap. "Of course I'll be your girlfriend!"

Thank God for that. I wouldn't have been able to cope with it if she said no.

"Jesus, don't scare me like that! I see my mums sense of humour is rubbing off on you."

She rocks her hips on my in excitement and pull the hair away from her face.

"I'm sorry that was payback for this morning." she pokes me playfully. "Why would I say no? I need you too, more than you'll ever kn-"

Her phone cuts her off and I roll my eyes at how many times this has fucking happened to us.

"Gosh, who is it now?" I say grabbing her bag from the pillow above my head. She lets me fish out her phone and to my horror, but not at all to my surprise it's fucking Troye.

"For fuck sake what does he want?" I growl and decline the call.

"Hey! You can't just-"

"Yeah I can Ellie. You know what he's going to say so what's the point?"

"The point is that it's my phone and he's my friend!" she can't be serious.

"Oh so he's your friend now? Last time I checked he was the snobby dick that dumped you, then didn't call you for weeks!"
